This is a beautiful country home in Westport, MA, a historical farm and beach town. Watuppa pond is literally just down the street. Several Beaches are just a 12 min drive from the house. Westport River, where they offer kayaking and canoeing is less than 10 min away, Westport Vineyards where they hold concerts every Friday night, and Buzzards Brewery where they also host live music, is a 10 min drive. Newport RI and its famous mansions is just 20 min away and Providence, RI a 1/2 hr away. The space Major supermarkets and shopping is just a 10 min drive. Westport is also just a 1hr drive to Boston. The house is very comfortable and welcoming. There is a kitchen, dining room and living room upstairs in addition to two of the bedrooms and full bath. The other bedroom is downstairs and has a twin bed and queen bed, which are a bunkbed and a double buton. with the half bath, laundry room and common area. Guest access The entire house with the exception of the master bedroom, garage, and a couple of closets that will be locked and off limits. Guests are welcome to use the yard and back deck area, but please be respectful of the neighbors. Other things to note Linens and towels are provided. Guests are welcome to park in the long driveway. Feel free to use the items in the refrigerator. Dishes and bowls are to the right of the fridge and glasses are to the right of the sink. Towels are in the closet by the upstairs bathroom. Please refrain from entering and using the upstairs bedroom at the end of the hall on the left as well as the garage, which is not set up for guest use. You are welcome to use the laundry room. Beach towels will be in the towel closet by the bathroom. There is an air conditioner in the living/dining area and a ceiling fan in the kitchen. if you keep the upstairs windows open in the evening, it allows for good cross-ventilation and keeps the house cool. There is also a fan in each of the bedrooms. They have outdoor concerts with local food vendors (oysters, bbq, wine, beer, etc) on Friday and sometimes Saturdays, but tickets sell fast so you must reserve them ahead of time.
