As featured in summer 2023 Cape May Magazine, Red Knot Farm is a secluded birder and nature lover’s paradise within biking distance of beaches, wineries, & downtown Cape May. Our lovingly restored 1850 farmhouse with indoor-outdoor layout includes an expansive breeze-filled screen porch with areas for dining and relaxation. Inside, our light-filled home is furnished with a mix of vintage and contemporary furniture. Bikes are provided and a Cove Beach box stores beach chairs & your items. The space Our spacious property is decorated for the holidays and comfortably accommodates a family or small group looking to escape the daily routine and relax at the shore. Across the street from our home is preserved farmland. Willow Creek Winery, Beach Plum Farm, Higbee and Sunset Beaches are a short scenic bike ride away. Location is convenient and bikeable to all Cape May has to offer including shopping, restaurants, fishing, beach yoga, Cape May Lighthouse State Park, and the Nature Conservancy. The large private yard contains a working fountain, outdoor shower, hammock, firepit, picnic table and gas grill. The first floor boasts a spacious screened porch running the length of our home, living room, well-appointed kitchen, dining room, ½ bath, reading room and utility room. Upstairs you will find a back bedroom with queen bed (memory foam mattress), front bedroom with queen bed (sleep number mattress), a small third bedroom with a queen bed (memory foam mattress), and a full bathroom with tub. High speed internet runs throughout the property, with cable TV in the living room. Our home includes two ceiling fans on the porch, in the kitchen, and in all bedrooms; central AC, washer and dryer and outdoor shower. Our fully-equipped kitchen will make cooking and dining an enjoyable experience. We are growing pick-you-own seasonal fruit and vegetables in our gardens for your enjoyment. This property is available year round; 3 night minimum stays for the 2024 season. weekly/monthly rentals only from June 22 through September 7 (Saturday - Saturday) . Bikes (six beach cruisers) and a Steger beach storage box (available until September 20) is reserved to store beach chairs (provided) and all of your beach items at the Cape May Cove Beach. Highchair, infant seat and baby bath available upon request. Guest access Guests have access to home, yard and bike room in barn. Other things to note Please remember to bring beach towels. We will provide bed linens and bath towels.
