L-shaped living space - 2 sofas (1 futon-double bed) with fully equipped kitchen, small master bedroom with a queen bed, smaller bedroom with 1 twin bed. Washer/dryer in bathroom. Linen, tv, wifi. Calm neighborhood, friendly neighbors, runners, bikers, beach enthusiasts. Kayaking possible on Lagoon Pond. Sailing lessons available in Vineyard Haven. Car recommended although it is possible to bike and or bus it. Circular driveway accomodates parking. Bicycles can be stored in garage. 5 minute walk to buses and bike path on the Vineyard Haven/Edgartown Road. Island beaches, grocery shopping, airport and the towns of Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs, and Edgartown all within a short drive. In Vineyard Haven there are shops and restaurants, the MV Film Center with interesting programming. Buses go everywhere on the island. They are very practical and easy to negociate. My family guest house is basic and charming. Since it's above the garage, it's a bit like a tree house with a water view, airy and light.
