Unwind and relax in this 1950's log cabin on 10 private acres of wilderness with your own fishing creek. Solitude and quiet to write your novel or screenplay. Only five cabins within miles in every direction, yet easy access to everything MT! Swan Lake (12 min), Glacier National Park (1 hr), Flathead Lake, amazing hiking, river & lake fishing, mountain biking, rafting, X-country are just minutes away. Night out or shopping, Bigfork is app. 30 minutes or the local bar is a 12 minute drive. The space The perfect place for anyone that wants to escape city life and experience Montana’s wilderness and look for wildlife (while drinking wine next to a fire pit or or fireplace). The cabin is located on 10 acres in The Swan Valley and is surrounded by The Mission Mountains and Swan Mountain ranges. You'll drive two miles off the main road over rivers and through protected forest to reach the cabin (frequent animal sightings on the road). Sit outside next to the fire-pit and look/listen for jumping fish, moose, elk, deer, bald eagles, bears, fox and the many critters that live in the Swan Valley. You'll "hear" the quiet and dark nights are lit up by thousands of visible stars. WINTER RENTALS MUST have a 4WD automobile or can request to rent my Toyota 4 Runner. Sleeps up to seven people comfortably (king bed in master / queen and bunkbeds in bedroom 2. Plenty of space to park an RV, camper or pitch a tent. No RV hook-ups.
