The ORR House is an elegant log home, located in the country, surrounded by wide open spaces, 6.5 miles from the charming town of Ennis, Montana. Exquisitely decorated and newly updated, the house is decked out with stunning photography. The property provides wonderful private space for those seeking a bit of seclusion. The massive dining table is perfect for entertaining many friends and family members. The back deck is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The space The Orr House is a stunning well appointed home, located in the Madison Valley, only a short distance from the Madison River, Ennis Lake and Ennis, Montana. Originally built in the early 1990 by the owner's parents, the lodge was recently renovated with care to maintain the original western feel but bring in an elegant eclectic atmosphere. The space is perfect for intimate family or gatherings with friends. The house sleeps 6 easily in 3 bedrooms and has a massive hand-hewn long dining table, able to accommodate up to 12. Outdoor seating and dining with views of the Madison Range make it the perfect place to entertain guests. Other things to note The ORR House is perfect in any season for artists, painters, photographers, writers, vacationers, and people who work remotely because it is comfortable, well appointed, has high speed internet connection, and is quiet with beautiful views of the Madison Range and the Tobacco Root Mountains. The Madison, Gallatin, Jefferson and Missouri Rivers offer blue-ribbon fly fishing nearby with professional guides and tackle shops available in Ennis. Ennis is a picturesque cowboy town that has many restaurants and bars, some providing very fine dining. A distillery and a brewery furnish award-winning drinks. Just over the hill from Ennis are the ghost towns of Virginia, Nevada City, and Alder Gulch which take you back to the gold rush days of the 1860's. Tours are available there. Yellowstone Park is a very special destination for many and is accessible through West Yellowstone, the west entrance which is 71 miles from Ennis. During the winter months, snowmobile-guided trips are available to Old Faithful from West Yellowstone. The outdoor hot springs in Norris (about 20 miles from the ORR House) will warm your soul even in blizzard conditions and often have live music. The Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park is 40 miles away and offers guided tours. Hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, appreciating wildflowers and wildlife, backcountry exploring, living, and tasting the Western culture make a stay at The ORR House memorable. Professional workshops could be organized and held at The Orr House with overflow clients staying at the many good motels in Ennis. Bozeman and its airport are a 55-mile drive. The Museum of the Rockies is one of the high points. Hosting Montana State University, Bozeman is a fast-growing city attracting a variety of students and professionals.
