The space ## House Rules & Important Information We ask all guests to respect the home, our neighbors, and the surrounding oceanfront community. This is a higher-end residential area with full-time residents nearby, and due to town regulations and neighbor concerns, we cannot allow large events, weddings, parties, or unapproved gatherings. **Guests Only:** Family gatherings and friend groups staying at the home are welcome. Any additional guests, visitors, or gatherings must be approved in advance. **Parking:** Maximum of 6 vehicles. Any additional vehicles require prior approval and may need to park offsite. **Noise:** No loud music, excessive noise, or late-night activity that could disturb neighbors. Please be especially mindful when outside, on the porch, in the pool area, or using the hot tub. **Quiet Hours:** Larger outdoor gatherings should end by 10 PM. The Town of Plymouth has a 24-hour reasonable noise ordinance that must be followed at all times. Relaxing on the back porch is welcome, but noise must remain respectful. **Shared Driveway:** The driveway is shared with nearby neighbors, so please keep it clear and be considerate when coming and going. **Not a Party House:** This home is intended for respectful family and friend stays only. Rule violations may result in removal from the property without refund. **Exterior Cameras:** Exterior surveillance cameras monitor the outside of the home and surrounding property for safety, parking, occupancy, and noise compliance. ## Amenities & Features **Pool:** Seasonal pool is typically open mid-May through mid-October and heated to approximately 70( in the shoulder season ) & 78°F. Higher pool heating may be available for an additional fee depending on the outside temperature and length of stay. **Hot Tub:** Available year-round. Please use extra care after 10 PM, as voices and activity outside can carry in this neighborhood. **Trash, Lawn & Pool Service:** Trash pickup, lawn care, pool service, and general maintenance may occur during your stay. ## Location Highlights **Beach Access:** The beach is approximately a 1-mile walk by sidewalk. Parking may also be available in season for about $15, though many guests prefer to walk or use drop-offs. **Nearby Beaches:** Scusset State Beach is about 15 minutes away and offers a larger beach experience with vendors. Ellisville is a quieter, scenic state beach option. **Day Trip Idea:** Take the ferry from Plymouth to Provincetown for beautiful beaches, restaurants, shops, and a classic Cape Cod day trip. ## History & Views This historic oceanfront home is full of character and charm. In the early 1900s, the home is said to have hosted President Woodrow Wilson. From the back of the house, enjoy spectacular views across Cape Cod Bay. On clear days and nights, you may even see the lights of Provincetown in the distance. ## Plymouth Attractions Nearby activities include whale watching, deep-sea fishing, ferries to Provincetown, historic museums, Plimoth Patuxet, local restaurants, and catered lobster bakes. You can also drive to Falmouth or Hyannis for ferry access to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. ## Booking Details **Summer Stays:** From June 15 through Labor Day, we generally prefer weekly Saturday-to-Saturday rentals. **Check-Out:** Summer check-out is 10 AM. At other times of year, check-out is typically 11 AM unless otherwise noted. **Pets:** Pets require prior approval. ## Historic Home Disclosure This is a historic oceanfront home with charm, character, and modern amenities, but some parts of the property still reflect its age. You may notice older wood windows with traditional pulls, some original cabinets, older flooring in certain areas, and a pool that shows some age. Everything is maintained and functional, but we want to set proper expectations so guests understand they are staying in a beautiful historic home rather than a brand-new construction property. Guest access HOUSE, FRONT YARD, POOL AREA, AND BACK YARD BEYOND POOL (NO BAY/OCEAN ACCESS DIRECLTY BEHIND THE HOUSE THAT IS PRIVATE PROPERTY) Other things to note NO PARTIES, NO LOUD NOISE, NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS, PARKING MAX 6 VEHICLES, MUST FOLLOW GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY PETS NEED PRIOR APPROVAL and agreement to our pet policy. You must send us a message if you are bringing a pet and will need to pay a pet fee. Our property doesn’t have charging capabilities for electric vehicles however you may be able to use the outdoor outlet. Please make sure to get our approval prior so we can monitor in case of any issues and the fee will be $15/night. **Early Check-In / Late Check-Out** Because we use independent cleaning and maintenance companies that set their own schedules, and because we often have same-day check-ins and check-outs, it can be difficult to guarantee early check-in or late check-out in advance. If you would like to secure an early arrival or late departure ahead of time, it typically requires us to block the night before or after your stay and adjust the rate for the additional night, which is typically discounted. If you prefer not to reserve the additional night, you may check back about 2 weeks before arrival or departure. If available, a 2-hour early check-in or 2-hour late check-out may be arranged for a fee, generally $200 in the off-season and up to $400 during peak summer, depending on the date and staffing availability. This fee helps cover the coordination required to adjust cleaner and maintenance schedules. We may require a community deposit for your stay to make sure the community regulations are followed Pricing a large home like this can be difficult, so depending on your stay, we may need to manually adjust the rates and or require a minimum stay and this would be confirmed prior to booking.
