House is cleaned daily. This compact room has a full bed and is on the second floor, cozy and sunny. The room has two windows with blinds and blackout curtains, oak wood floor, window AC in the summer, two bed end tables, two lamps with USB charge ports, walk-in closet with a laundry basket, a table with two chairs, a mirror, and a tower fan that can make white noise. This bedroom shares a full bathroom with the other second floor bedroom and a ground level room. The space This owner occupied townhouse is in a leafy, safe neighborhood in desirable East Arlington right where Cambridge (Harvard/MIT), Somerville (Davis Sq.), and Medford (Tufts) meet. There is a river and lush path behind the house. A few minutes’ walk from a supermarket, restaurants, Bluebikes, and public transport. It is a short walk from 3 bus lines to Davis Square red line subway (T) in 4-5 mins. T takes you to Harvard (6 min), Kendall/MIT (12 min), and Boston Downtown (15 min). Open, modern kitchen, inviting living and dining space, front and back patios with outdoor seating, driveway fits four cars, washer/dryer, wifi. I provide soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, Kleenex, first aid kit and other essentials. PLEASE NOTE: there are two uncarpeted wood staircases which can be slippery in socks. Please consider bringing flip flops or slippers (bare feet are fine!) Guest access The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing all meals, with labeled cooking and dining utensils. Coffee and tea are provided. The dishwasher is functional but used to store pots and pans, so please hand wash, dry, and store dishes. A washer/dryer is available in the basement. The front and back yards have brick patios with tables and chairs. The driveway fits four cars off street on premise. During your stay I strive to keep everything clear and organized to ensure you feel comfortable and safe. I'm happy to share info about the area and offer directions to local attractions! Other things to note You'll find an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer in the closet by the second-floor bathroom. Please remove outdoor shoes inside the house. With two wooden staircases, I recommend bringing slippers or indoor footwear for safety and comfort. Quiet hours are 9 PM–9 AM; laundry hours are 9 AM–9 PM. I provide detergent and dryer sheets, but appreciate it if you bring your own especially for longer stays. We refresh the space daily, but kindly tidy up after yourself. Thank you!
