During our 20% discount winter promo we offer a complete continental breakfast. Bright room, 2nd floor queen bed, cotton sheets, own bathroom, sleep sofa, and deck. Private and close to where you want to be: four minutes' drive to Deerfield Academy, Eaglebrook or Bement, 17 miles to Northampton and Amherst and their colleges. If you like a secluded spot, you will be happy here with us and we will respect your privacy. The entrance is the only shared space. Week-long stay = continental bf! The space Bedroom on second floor with en suite bathroom, dressing room with a desk, sitting area in a separate room with microwave, rice cooker, noodle pot, mini fridge, kettle and coffee set-up …. and a deck off the side. Breakfast with friends at a nearby hostelry came to $79 for the two of us - including tax but before the gratuity, so enjoy the added value of a full breakfast with us! If we are not to hand, just send a message. Been on a long-haul journey and need some smalls washed? Just let us know and we can toss them in the washer for you. Plates, cutlery, glasses, napkins, for a takeaway are by the Keurig. Other things to note We have three rescues - Sparky, Mimi, and, cheerful young terrier mix types. They are all small and friendly. Mimi is a little skittish after a rough start in life so ignore her entirely and she warms up once she knows you won’t be mean to her. (We do not allow them in the guest rooms.) There are 4-5 Amtrak trains a day during the week (fewer on the weekend) on the nearby track. This does not bother us and the guest rooms are at the back of our house, but we wanted you to be aware of this in advance. We put out breakfast for you on a tray in the room outside your bedroom and set up a table and chairs. Let us know what time works best for you - 7:00-9:00. If we do not hear from you we will go for 8 o’clock-ish.
