Bright 2nd-floor queen suite, your own bathroom, sitting area, sleep sofa, and deck. Enjoy a full homemade breakfast, available by advance request, for $15 per person, served to your suite. Tucked away below Deerfield Ridge: five minutes' drive to Deerfield Academy, Eaglebrook or Bement, and just 17 miles to Northampton and Amherst. If you like a secluded spot, you will be happy here with us and we will respect your privacy. The entrance is the only shared space. No cleaning fee. The space Bedroom on second floor with en suite bathroom (with SLS-free plant based homemade soap), deck, dressing room with a desk, sitting area in a separate room with microwave, rice cooker, noodle pot, mini fridge, kettle, teapot, and coffee set-up...with a deck off the side. OPTIONAL HOMEMADE BREAKFAST Our guests over the years always enjoy breakfast at the house. We are happy to offer a full homemade breakfast as an optional part of your stay. If you would like this option, please let us know through your Airbnb message thread when you make your reservation to stay with us. Please let us know, too, if you have any dietary restrictions. We set up a bistro table and chairs for you in your coffee area and bring breakfast to you. Prefer to sleep in, explore a local café, or simply skip breakfast? That's absolutely fine. Breakfast at $15 per person, per morning, is entirely optional and we will arrange the additional charge through Airbnb. Guest access The only shared space is the entranceway. We have three rescues: Sparky and Mimi are terrier mix types, and Loretta (a mini Aussie mix) is an official therapy dog. They are all freindly although Mimi is a little skittsish after an especially rough start in life. They rule the garden at the back so please don't wander around there! We do not allow the dogs in the guest rooms. During your stay We are always glad to answer any questions you may have and to assist in any way we can. If we are not to hand, just send a message. Been on a long-haul journey and need some smalls washed? Just let us know and we can toss them in the washer for you gratis. Ten dollars for a full load. If you bring in a takeaway you have plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses, and napkins. There’s a tray on the microwave for the used items. We do not allow the dogs in the guest rooms. There are 4-5 Amtrak trains a day during the week (fewer on the weekend) on the nearby track. This does not bother us and the guest rooms are at the back of our house, but we wanted you to be aware of this in advance. A reminder again to not go around into the garden at the back - that is the dogs' space. ABOUT OPTIONAL BREAKFAST We make everything from scratch, from yoghurt to breakfast bread. We tap our trees and have a sugar house, eggs are from happy chickens, milk is local, so if homemade, organic, and local appeals to you, we think you will enjoy breakfast! We serve between 7-9, and go for 8:15-ish if you don't give us a time preference when you choose this option.
