Perfectly situated one block off of Main Street, within walking distance to everything "downtown", this 3 bed, 2 bath home is the perfect place to retreat whether you are here on business or pleasure. The house has a newly updated kitchen, and newly furnished lower level. Upon your arrival you are welcomed with homemade cinnamon rolls and local coffee. Within walking distance to everything downtown, the house is perfectly situated close to highway's 218, 58 and 20 so it is very easy to access UNI, the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center, downtown Waterloo, and the industrial park in Cedar Falls. This two story home includes a main floor open floor plan with living and dining, a fully stocked kitchen, full bath, full bed, and game room. Upstairs you will find two more bedrooms (queen and single), a full bath, living room, dining area and children's nook. This house could easily host two couples or small families visiting for a getaway weekend or extended stay. A few other perks include off street parking, smart TVs in the living room areas (one up and one down), double shower in upstairs bath, newly updated & fully furnished kitchen, patio with grill and furniture, two child and two adult bicycles, and laundry in the basement. A pack and play and high chair are available to accommodate families with infants and toddlers. Sleeping arrangements include one large main floor bedroom with a full bed, upper level master bedroom with a queen bed, a small room with a single IKEA bed, another small nook off of the living room with a single IKEA mattress (this is perfect for little ones or even your college student!!). There is also a full size sofa bed with down mattress pad (or you can switch that out with a cooling memory foam pad). Guest access Guests will enter the house from the back door, off of the driveway, with a keyless entry code/pad. The code is shared with guests a day or two prior to the arrival date. Other things to note We truly hope you will take advantage of the downtown atmosphere - it is so charming, sophisticated and classy. The Cedar Falls Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017. It is made up of 59 buildings that were constructed between 1860 and 1960. Of those, 46 were determined to be significantly historic.
