Come enjoy a great getaway at our spacious cabin on the Des Moines River in Keosauqua, Iowa. Enjoy year round river views. We have everything you need to recharge - porch dinning, grill, fire pit & amazing views! Love to fish, kayak, boat, golf, or hunt? You can do it all here. We also have a boat ramp about 300 yards from the cabin. We are a minute drive from the famous Van Buren county that has multiple unique things to offer. Come relax and enjoy the great outdoors! The space Our cabin is located on private land right on the Des Moines river. Guests can enjoy the entire 1 level cabin. This includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 2 car ports, with a spacious deck & yard. 1 car port being a patio, another being shelter for vehicles etc. You have access to the blackstone grill & fire pit. We are 1 mile out of town with a grocery store, gas, restaurants, many fun taverns & shopping! Keosauqua is one of the 11 villages in Van Buren County, an award winning tourist destination! Has something to offer everyone of all ages! Free WiFi Other things to note This property is out of town on a gravel road. In the winter time all wheel drive or 4x4 would be ideal if there’s snow. We do not supply a washer & dryer as of now, there is a laundromat in town. There is really good fishing on the river from the bank as long as the water levels are up high enough. When the water gets low fishing can be tough with the steeper bank and rip rap on the bank. So it all depends on water levels for fishing. We are located on private property but do have a few neighboring cabins that are also located down there. Everyone is super friendly in our little area though! We also have a fire pit that you are welcome to use. We don’t supply any firewood but they do it sell it in town and Boyd’s and Circle B as long as there not sold out. Your also more than welcome to bring your own.
