Whitefish Outpost: Rustic Luxury-Ski Big Mountain

Enjoy the best of Montana on a 15 Acre private family compound 3 Miles from Downtown Whitefish. Beautifully appointed 6600 square ft luxury home allowing you plenty of space to stretch out. Large decks and outdoor spaces overlooking the property with private pond. Luxurious master suite, main floor and downstairs kitchens, multiple entertaining areas, and plenty of beds. A true paradise 5 minutes from town, 11 miles to Whitefish Mountain Resort, and 29 miles to Glacier Park Entrance. The space We have two other Airbnb houses on the 15 acre property that can be rented in addition to our main house at Outpost. Please find them by locating J Michael's profile on this listing. We do allow events, i.e. weddings, receptions, reunions, but only with prior permission and payment of an event fee and completion of an event contract. This includes any catered events or gatherings whether in the house(s) or on the grounds of the property. Guest access There are two other guest rental houses on the 15 acre Outpost property. The Bunkhouse, which is directly down the hill behind Outpost-it is attached to the three bay garage. Outpost cabin is the other house, which is on the very back of the property down the driveway. Guests of the main house, Outpost, can access anything in the main house-front and back yard, down to the driveway between our Bunkhouse with attached garage. You have access to the pond closest to Outpost, but could be sharing the pond with other guests booked in the Bunkhouse. Please do not walk or drive to the back property and pond-unless you are with the same group renting the cabin on our back acreage. Other things to note Some important items to remember during your stay: 1. Ponds are beautiful but are not fenced and are not for swimming. Please keep an eye on children and adults so they do not end up in the water. 2. Please observe Montana’s fire restrictions before using the fire pit. If burning is not allowed please don’t do so. 3. We are close to town but Whitefish in general and our property in particular has occasional wild visitors. Please store trash appropriately not to attract animals. Be aware of your surroundings. For added comfort and safety we have two bottles of Bear Spray on the Shelf in the mud room. 4. Please no hunting on property.
