We encourage you to eat what you catch! And even bring your own boat and stay in one of our boat slips! Minutes from Solomons Island by Boat or Car! This Glampi-fied Boathouse is perfect the water-lovers, boat-wranglers and crabbing-connoisseurs of the world! Bring your boats, bicycles and sense of adventure. Perfect way to get out of the city and enjoy nature. Take a right from the pier in one of our complimentary kayaks to see blue herons, eagles and river otters. Take a left - minutes to Myrtle Point Beach, have drinks at Clarks Landing and then right on over to the famous Solomons Island Tiki Bar. Please NOTE - the beach and dock ARE SHARED. Please be curtious of other guests. Smoking is allowed - ONLY OUTSIDE. If found smoking or remnants of inside the boathouse you will be fined $100. Also please clean up after your fur babies and take the droppings with you, our cleaning staff will not take care of it. If not we will need to charge you a fee of $100 for clean up as well. Boat Cruises! Captain Barb offers afternoon an morning cruises on the Chesapeake leaving right from the dock! Bring snacks, BYOB and your fur-babies! and relax the waterman way on the Chesapeake Bay! $100 per person for 90min cruises! ***Winter Renters NOTE *** Winter here is absolutely STUNNING - however since it is on the water it can be a bit dangerous getting into the boathouse from the dock - so please be careful and watch for ice. Also we provide many blankets and heaters - but it may be a little chilly! so just so no one is caught of guard - this a little bit like winter-glamping lol Activities at The Cove!! Kayaking - Go over to Solomon’s Island, Clark’s Landing or the beach! SUP-Boarding - The world is your oyster! Swimming - Take a relaxing dip in our river! Crabbing - Cook them and pick crabs for the afternoon!! Fishing - Catch some dinner! We want you to have a lovely glamping adventure but please remember; there is not always someone on the premises so please swim, use the kayaks and interact with nature at your own risk.
