Welcome to the little ranch - a newly renovated contemporary coastal ranch that is outfitted to make your stay comfortable and easy. A mix of modern conveniences and comforts with the charm of Cape Cod is perfect for short and extended stays. The house is equipped with upgraded high speed internet and a work station for a reliable and peaceful work away-from-home experience. The space A place designed for friends and families to get together & enjoy their time on the Cape! We have a semi-fenced in backyard with a hammock, grill & a firepit for endless conversations. A cozy dining area, a brand new central cooling system, a living room stocked with board games and a fully appointed kitchen with more coffee brewing devices than are probably necessary. We love little humans- we have beach toys, beach chairs for kids, pack-n-play, a foldable high chair, lots of kid friendly dinnerware & a white-noise machine in every room! No cable however, we have an Apple TV to watch shows on Netflix, Hulu, etc. More about the location: Nestled in a quite neighborhood, we are a 2 mins drive from the Ashumet Pond boat ramp - feel free to bring your own boats, kayaks, paddle boards or jet skis. Under 15 minutes drive from downtown Falmouth (lots of dining options) , cape cod beaches, Mashpee Commons (more shopping & dining options!), Shining Sea bikeway, cape cod golf courses & many hiking trails. If you wish to take a day trip to Martha's Vineyard- we are about a 20 min drive to the Wood's Hole ferry terminal! Follow us on @thelittleranchcapecod *Washer/dryer is located in the basement that is only accessible from the outside via a bulkhead* * The 3rd bed is a comfy daybed in the overflow room that can easily be opened up to a queen size bed. *NO PARTIES OR EVENTS* *Guests to bring wood for the firepit* *Due to COVID cleaning protocols, we will consider (1) well behaved non-shedding dog on a case-by-case basis. A non-refundable $100 fee per stay is required. This fee is dedicated to the additional cleaning needed between guests.* *We disclose that there is a security camera outside the house, which is there to monitor deliveries and weather (to determine if snow plowing is needed). Neighborhood Note: Our home is located in a quiet residential area. There are a couple of friendly neighborhood dogs across the street who sometimes relax in their own front yard, but they remain on their property. There’s also a dog in the backyard of the home behind us, but that yard is fully fenced and separated by tall rhododendrons. In the four years we’ve been hosting, none of our guests (many with pets of their own) have ever had an issue. You can feel comfortable enjoying our semi-fenced backyard and surrounding neighborhood. Pet Policy (House Rules) We love welcoming furry friends 🐾, but kindly ask that: Only pre-approved dogs are allowed (case by case, with pet fee). Pets are not permitted on furniture or beds — please bring a blanket or pet bed if they are used to cuddling. Guests are expected to clean up after their pets inside and outside. For everyone’s comfort, pets should not be left unattended in the house for long periods.
