This beautiful house is just one block from the beach at Hanalei Bay and a 5 minute walk from quaint , historic downtown Hanalei. At the end of a cul-de-sac and set back off the road, the house offers complete privacy. With three bedrooms, two baths, and a spacious, open floor plan the house will accommodate your whole group in style and comfort. It has a wonderful living area with lots of comfortable seating and a large flat screen TV with DVR capabilities, a DVD player with a large collection of DVD’s, and a sound system and IPod dock. The dining room table will seat 10 or 12, the gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need for meal preparation and table settings. The wrap around lanais provide ample space for enjoying the wonderful surroundings and eating outside. The master suite has a king bed, a full ensuite bath, and a private lanai. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has twins which can be converted to another king. The house is fully air conditioned. This is the top half main suite of a single family home. There is also a two bedroom apartment on the garden level that may be rented separately (and has a separate Airbnb listing), or with the upstairs, making a 5 bedroom home for a larger groups. The two suites are completely self contained and not connected. The only shared space is the driveway and the gardens. There are no gatherings or parties allowed on the premises without the express permission of the owners. There is a noise ordinance in effect in the whole neighborhood with quiet hours beginning at 9PM on weeknights and 10PM on weekends. The owner does not live on island, but the property caretaker/manager resides on the property and is available should the need arise This is a quiet, residential neighborhood ideally situated between the beach and downtown Hanalei. About half the homes are vacation rentals, and half are owner occupied. Hanalei town has a wonderful array of cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries, all walking distance from the house. The beach has been named one of the most beautiful in the world, a two mile crescent of white sand surrounded by mountains and lush foliage. Renting a car is probably best for getting to and from the airport and exploring other parts of the island. Bicycles can be rented downtown, as can kayaks and paddle boards. Walking is the easiest and simplest way to get around Hanalei and to and from the beach. Local accommodations tax of 18% is additional. Please note that while the cancellation policy is 50% refund within the cancellation period, if I am able to rent the house to someone else I will issue a full refund for the days rented.
