This house is a quintessential Jersey Shore bungalow, with all of the comfortable upgrades (like central A/C) while maintaining a charming vintage feel. There are three bedrooms, and one full bath. The house sits a stone's throw away from the most magnificent sunsets the Jersey Shore offers. It's a short walk to the downtown shops and attractions, as well as the Bay front beaches and play grounds, or the beautiful beach and boardwalk. Bikes included! Beach badges avail for a small fee. Guests have plenty of space & privacy in this beautifully vintage decorated beach bungalow. There are two spacious bedrooms off of the open living room with ample storage and beautiful morning sunshine. The third bedroom has a private entrance and windows surrounding the room which gives a feeling of being outdoors. There is a fully stocked kitchen with every amenity for daily cooking, except a dishwasher. The bathroom has a full sized tub and window in the shower for venting and natural light. Outside, there is a modest balcony with wicker rocking chairs for morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail. There are also full size loungers out front for sunbathing, as well as other seating, a propane gas grill, and two lovely patio areas for outdoor family dining and relaxing. Guests have their own private driveway plus plenty of on street parking right out front. There is a bike rack on the side of the house with 4 bikes to enjoy during your stay. We have added landscaping to the property & a natural bamboo screen to give privacy to both guests and us. The back yard area is mostly off limits, except for garbage/recycling. Beach badges are available for a small fee. The entire guest house is yours to enjoy! The spacious front and west side of the house is also completely dedicated to our guests. Garbage and recycling will be directly out the back door, for your convenience. We will be available at all times for our guests. We are a family of five with a cute cockapoo dog who live next door. We enjoy our outdoor space, but we are quiet and respectful. Our neighborhood is among the best of the best at the Jersey Shore! The house is two blocks from the gorgeous ocean beach & boardwalk (the boardwalk is 1.4 scenic miles of the beautiful beach environment and stunning homes). We are a stone's throw distance to the open Barnegat Bay front, which offers life-guarded beaches, playgrounds, recreational activities such as basketball and tennis courts, public docks, and boat ramps. A few blocks down, there is a public gazebo, at which the town gathers for weekly events such as 'Movies on the Bay' and free concerts. The downtown offers high end boutique shopping, as well as more economical artisan shops, local eateries (a favorite is The Crab's Claw Tavern), mini-golf, and more... It's all a short walk away or a fun bike ride. There is free street parking everywhere throughout the town, but we encourage guests to use the bikes we include! It’s a favorite past time of ours to bike everywhere, even the daily farm markets for fresh local groceries. The house is one house east of Bay Boulevard, which is a lovely meandering street along the scenic bay-front. Most everything, from pizzerias, to fine dining, to church, is within walking distance from the house. We have a minimum age requirement of 24. Beach badges are available for $20 per person for the week… A savings of $15 per person per week!
