Smith Family Cabin - Near Lake & Yellowstone

Set at the top of a hill, surrounded with pristine, non-commercial land and gorgeous Montana skies and landscape! Just 7 miles from West Yellowstone and the West entrance to Yellowstone Park, and 1 mile from beautiful Hebgen Lake. Get up early and you may be lucky enough to see elk, buffalo or deer depending on the time of year. What you WON'T see are other tourists. This is a private, quiet place...comfortable, clean and roomy, with quick and easy access. The space In Spring and Summer you are surrounded with fields of wildflowers. You'll enjoy beautiful, unspoiled landscape on a walk or jog to Hebgen Lake. There are unlimited trails for hiking (never go alone, this is bear country). Six of the nine rooms are large, with a large living area and kitchen. A TV room and a ping pong table are also downstairs. If you are looking for the latest in interior design and finish, look elsewhere. But if you want a great place to build family relationships, this is it! This is our 4th year with Airbnb, and we've been told by others that, bar none, this was the best family vacation they have ever enjoyed. This place is a family cabin and has happy energy. We only rent out a few weeks every year, so act quickly and we hope you'll love it like we do! This requires experience with using a wood stove and expertise with snowmobiles, so is not for the casual tourist. We will need to pre-approve you for a winter stay. But, WOW. What a prime place for a winter vacation! Snowmobiling and cross-country skiing galore :).
