This condo is a unique one-bedroom suite at the Pali Ke Kua resort perched on a cliff and offers a fabulous 180-degree view of the ocean and majestic waterfall-laced mountains that will take your breath away. It's the ideal place to relax and unwind or enjoy the many nearby activities. This intimate home is fully furnished with everything you could possibly need for a carefree vacation. 'Ikena Kai has been completely renovated and is one of the most beautiful condo rentals in the Pali Ke Kua complex. The condo includes travertine-style porcelain tiles in the living area, Bose SoundTouch WI-FI music system, 65" Samsung Smart TV in the living room, Quartz countertops, GE and Samsung stainless steel appliances, a Westin Heavenly Cal-King Bed, premium sheets and linens, and a spacious, porcelain-tiled bathroom. The bedroom is also equipped with a stand-alone air-conditioning unit to keep you comfortable while sleeping on those late afternoon-evenings when the trade winds take a break. A 2nd A/C unit is also available in the main living area. Ceiling and floor fans in each room also help circulate both A/C and outside air for ease of comfort. With the ocean bluff a mere 20 feet away from our lanai, you will have unobstructed front row seats to watch the waves and sea life, smell the flora of Paradise and listen to the surf while sipping coffee, enjoying wine and nibbles at sunset or kicking back in our brand new lounge chairs. A well-maintained swimming pool and hot tub exclusively for guests of Pali Ke Kua is a stone throw's away - as well as a paved path on the property, winding down to the ocean and an intimate beach, perfect for snorkeling and swimming. A spacious private parking lot provides plenty of free parking near the condo as well - and Hideaways Pizza Pub, a full-scale restaurant is on the property for easy dine-in or take-out dinners. Start your day with a breakfast of fresh fruits grown by local farmers. Then, stroll through our lush tropical vegetation as you use our private paved path to visit the magnificent golden-sand swimming-snorkeling-surfing Hideaways beach with sparkling blue and emerald water. Fall asleep to the sound of the surf or watch the (seasonal) whales, turtles and dolphins swim just outside of your lanai. As the day ends, take a moment to admire nightly gorgeous sunsets from that precious 180-degree view. Then, enjoy dining at Hideaways Pizza Pub , Pali Ke Kua's onsite restaurant or at one of the nearby restaurants. If staying in sounds better, cook your own meal in the fully appointed kitchen. Throughout your stay, you will find everything you need at the Princeville Shopping Center, less than 2 miles up the road or a paved walking path. Many beautiful intimate beaches within walking distance too - including a spectacular snorkeling/swimming cove at the foot of the ocean bluff, directly below the condo, easily accessible via a paved path on the complex grounds. When you feel like exploring, take a short drive to one of the many exquisite beaches along Kauai’s North Shore or to the historic town of Hanalei. Please Note: Typically we have a 4-night minimum stay (longer for the Christmas/New Years holiday) but if you're planning a shorter stay, inquire with us as we can often accommodate shorter stays. Also Hideaways Pizza Pub (full restaurant/bar) is on the property, open to the public. Other things to note This unit is located on the ground floor. No stairs to access, both inside and outside. Two stand-alone A/C units are available - one in the main room, one in the bedroom. With ample ceiling and floor fans throughout the condo, the A/C units make the condo quite comfortable on those warm tropical days when the trade winds calm. NO additional fees are assessed for A/C usage. For stays of 11 nights or more, a mid-stay clean @$150 is required; two mid-stay cleans with 21 nights; three mid-stay cleans with 28 nights or more.
