Additionally, there is private beach access for only residents and guests staying in Mountain Harbor, with boat slips availability on a first come first serve basis. All residents and guests residing in Mountain Harbor have access to the community pool & hot tub and tennis facilities. The pool and tennis court are only open seasonally (Memorial Day Weekend-end of September). The hot tub is available mid-December to mid-April and Memorial Day Weekend to end of September (closed mid- April- Memorial Day and end of September to mid-December. Other things to note This townhome has an ideal location no matter the season. In the winter, take a five minute drive up Whitefish Mountain Resort and experience the #3 ranked ski resort in the U.S. (Ski Magazine, 2019). In the summer, be sure to take advantage of Mountain Harbor's spacious beach which is one of the finest Whitefish Lake has to offer. The Mountain Harbor development is adjacent to the City of Whitefish pedestrian/biking path which sprawls around the City. If you're a nature lover, take comfort in knowing the Haskill Basin portion of the Whitefish Trail system is a mere quarter-mile away. This trail provides access to the ski resort from the town and is also a world-class mountain biking trail. The town of Whitefish, offers an array of dining options, local theater, hiking and biking trails, public beaches, golfing, ice skating, shops & boutiques, live music, & seasonal farmers markets to name a few. Glacier International Airport is located 10 minutes from the town of Whitefish. Shuttle service and car rentals are available at the airport. We recommend renting a car while visiting to give you the ease & enjoyment of coming and going as you please. Snow tires are strongly recommended during winter months. Also, the historic Whitefish Train Depot is a major stop for Amtrak on the Empire Builder line. The train arrives daily from points east and west. The train station is an easy 10-minute drive to Whitefish Mountain Resort. The S.N.O.W. (Shuttle Network of Whitefish) Bus is convenient and free.
