Description

Surrounded by trees, open fields, and Montana mountain views, this lodge offers a peaceful retreat in the Clark Fork Valley. The setting feels private, yet Main Street is just five miles away with local dining and coffee shops nearby. The lodge features seven bedrooms, sleeps 16 guest, making it ideal for families, groups, or work-friendly stays. A fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living areas invite gathering, while large windows fill the space with natural light and scenic views. The space Nestled in the scenic Clark Fork Valley, this lodge offers an idyllic retreat surrounded by towering Montana mountains, open fields, and peaceful forests. Built in 1998 using locally harvested pine and classic D-log construction, the home blends rustic charm with relaxation. With 3,900 square feet of living space across three levels, the lodge comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests. Despite its private, secluded setting, it’s just five miles from Main Street, with local diners and coffee shops close by. The first level features a small kitchen and dinette, a full bathroom, two bedrooms, and a bonus room with a queen bed and twin bunk beds. The second level serves as the main living space and includes a primary bedroom with ensuite bath, an additional bedroom, another bathroom, a full kitchen, dining area, and family room. The third level offers a quiet, loft-style bedroom, perfect for rest and retreat. Set on 30 acres, the property includes a charming red-roofed barn, two tree forts, five grazing pastures, and a large arena, offering plenty of space to explore and enjoy the outdoors. The lodge is designed to stay naturally cool in summer through cross-ventilation and is warmed in winter by a cozy wood-burning stove, with additional electric and gas heaters for extra warmth. While air conditioning is available, summer temperatures typically remain a comfortable 65–68°F using cool night air. County and city roads are plowed and sanded in winter, and snow removal on the property is supported by a plow and gas-powered snow blower. Linens are washed with natural detergent using fresh well water, and the kitchen features an updated gas range and oven, along with an electric refrigerator, perfect for family meals. Clean, crisp drinking water flows directly from the kitchen faucet. Modern amenities include energy-efficient LED lighting, two large smart TVs, Wi-Fi, and reliable cellular service. A spacious private deck invites you to enjoy summer meals or a quiet morning coffee year-round. Plush Denali blankets and cozy living spaces reflect our commitment to your comfort and safety. Whether you’re seeking tranquility, outdoor adventure, or meaningful time with family and friends, this lodge offers a truly memorable Montana getaway. Guest access A private drive leads guests to the lodge and a three-vehicle carport. There are four additional locations to park within 60 feet of the lodge. Access to the primary living level is gained from the front door. Access to the secondary living quarters (lower lodge) is gained by a staircase joining both the mid- and lower lodge OR by a secondary gravel road that joins the private drive. Both primary and secondary doors are secured by a lock-and-key; the staircase is secured by a door/lock-and-key as well. Finally, all 30 acres of the estate are free to explore. Property boundaries are defined by both fence and pave roads. NOTE: Keys will be granted to guests upon arrival. Other things to note Get ready for an adventure-packed stay!
