Welcome to our cozy home. Our place blends historic charm with modern comfort. Enjoy a large, fenced yard with a grill, fire pit, and deck to relax. Inside, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen and a dining room. We offer three bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and soft bedding. The living room has a big TV with cable and streaming apps, plus high-speed Wi-Fi. Families with dogs are warmly welcomed. Welcome to our home, built in 1871, where you'll find a perfect mix of old-world charm and modern comforts. The first floor has a bedroom with a trundle bed that sleeps two, and upstairs are two more bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the other with a king. We've stocked extra linens and comforters for your comfort. Our home has two bathrooms: a walk-in shower on the first floor and a bathtub on the second. We provide all the essentials: towels, soap, shampoo, a hairdryer, and a straightener. Our kitchen is stocked for cooking and baking adventures. We have a Keurig and Mr. Coffee, K-cups, and ground coffee. We have fast WiFi and two TVs, each with cable and access to streaming services. You’ll find a washer and dryer in the basement and plenty of detergent and dryer sheets. Outside, enjoy the deck with a gas grill and patio furniture, or sit by the fire pit with Adirondack chairs and a dining table. If you're traveling with a dog, they can come and go as they please through a doggie door leading to the fenced yard. Our house is in a residential area. You'll need a car to reach shops and restaurants. We are 2.5 miles from the exit off Route 95. The 128 Train Station to Boston is 3.5 miles away, and the Endicott Train stop is just 1 mile from our home. We’re here to ensure your stay is relaxing and you have everything you need. Welcome home! Our neighborhood is quiet and very safe with sidewalks for dog walking. A quick 5-minute walk to Oakdale Square, where you'll find a convenience store, sandwich shop, and a nail salon. Our central location is very convenient for visiting college kids, family at nearby hospitals, or clients in Waltham or Boston. Explore the historic Freedom Trail, Boston's attractions, or Cape Cod and New England's mountains. Sports fans can enjoy a 25-minute drive to Gillette Stadium for Pats games, Fenway Park for Sox games, or TD Garden for Celtics/Bruins matches. Culture enthusiasts can get to music, theater, art, and museums in about 25 minutes. We're conveniently located 1.5 miles (2.41 km) from Endicott Commuter Rail Station and 4 miles from the 128 Train Station. Other distances to note include a 15-minute drive to the Longwood Medical Area, 20–30 minutes to most Boston universities, 45 minutes to Plymouth Plantation, 45 minutes to Salem, and an hour to Cape Cod. In historic downtown Dedham where you can find coffee shops, small movie theater, quaint restaurants (BBQ, Greek, Chinese, Mexican) as well as great pub food, pizza, bakery, bagels, and ice cream. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside or anywhere on our property. We are highly sensitive to smoke odors and need to maintain a smoke-free environment, especially on bedding or furniture. A $250 fine will be enforced for violations. Please keep in mind that we reside in the house when it's not rented. Additionally, we have two dogs. While we ensure the house is impeccably cleaned for your arrival, it's important to be aware, particularly if you have allergies.
