Our market coming soon :)) The space Enter through an outdoor covered porch where you can enjoy sitting, drinks, and meals outside. The kitchen/dining has private forest views through your sliding doors which lead to the great outdoor lake view deck, equipped with a large table and grill. The dining area also has a comfy sitting area for relaxing and gathering around meals. There is a deck heater and Chimnea to enjoy the warmth on cool evenings and toast marshmallows. Please request fire supplies here. The Main Floor has the master bedroom, a hall bath with a tub/shower. The back living space has couches, a TV, a single bed, and a great view of the lake and field. From the entry room, a winding staircase leads to the downstairs, where there is a sweet Lakeview visible right from the queen bed, and a bathroom with a shower. The lower level has one queen bed and an extra-large queen futon with a nice comfy topper. Upon descending the stairs note the low ceiling for taller folks in the hall; the remaining downstairs is normal height. There's Plenty of Space to Roam. There are trails and fields for walking. The cottage is Quaint, yet Spacious. Spread out into the two sitting rooms, with wonderful views from all the windows. A safe and healthy environment; We clean well, and spray touch surfaces with seventh-generation disinfectant spray, to ensure healthy lungs! Guest access The cottage has it's own private lawn area for picnics & playing games. Guests are welcome to use the Chimnea, request wood for sale, collect kindling, schedule an animal tour, and take walks in the woods. Children are welcome to join in the fun; there may be other kids running about playing; children are often invited to join feedings and hold the animals. Take a walk through the woods, wade in stream pools, run field trails, and walk to the lake on a lakeside trail. Please do not go into the barns, as animals can escape. The cellar on the lower level has laundry for 5+day reservations; it is locked for the safety of children. Please inquire about access. Other things to note Pet Policy. No other pets than Dogs only, under 40pnds. *1. Pets need to be pre-approved, as there are free-roaming animals and other guests here. *2. Dogs cannot be unattended in the house (arrange to bring a crate). 3. No pets on furniture or downstairs on carpet. 4. . Do not allow dogs urinate on the lawns, as it kills grass; please walk dogs in fields, and trail areas and please pick up droppings. Please inquire about locations. *5. Pick up all droppings and dump them at the garbage end of the driveway. *6. No loud barking type dogs or aggressive dogs allowed, as there are other guests on property, children, and can be free range animals! You are located on a farm in a forested area, so you may hear the wild sounds, such as Coyotes Howling in the distance, Frogs croaking on the lake, Deer Sounds in season, Geese Honking, and our local farm critters can make their way into the house on occasion; Please do not leave the front door open. We use essential oil spray and sticky traps, but choose to not use harsh chemicals, or to eradicate all of our ordinary farm critters. We aim to keep everyone's lungs healthy for the children and animals; we manage pests with natural means. We do use ant traps in season, which you may see, and please let me know if you encounter any unwanted seasonal critters. We are happy to remove them or spray the area. Please enjoy and ask for anything you need:) To assist us in offering low cleaning fees, we appreciate that you left the areas in clean order, as when you arrived. Clean the grill after use (Tools are provided). An additional cleaning fee can be arranged if you are short on time. Please request upfront. Thank you.
