We are also near a marina with boat rentals, fishing charters, Riverboat cruises, water taxi & parasailing. Our block has a new playground with jungle gym, swings, slide, etc. You can jog or bike on boardwalk before 9 am. *In summer, just a short walk to Jenkinson's Pavillon, Aquarium & Amusement park, with Rides, New Adventure Park with Rope Courses, Zip Lining & more, Boardwalk Games, Arcades, Slot Machines, Mini Golf (3 courses), Batting Cages, Fun House & more. Our location offers LOTS of nearby eateries from fast food to fine dining (about 10 places within 10 minutes walk). All are kid-friendly with enough choices to satisfy even the fussiest of appetites & all budgets. I must meet all guests over the phone so we can answer each other's questions. Our neighbors are also families. If you are looking "to party" with your friends, sorry, this house IS NOT for YOU! Our area of town is more desirable as we have about 10 restaurants within about a 10 minute walk and even more eateries a little bit farther away. There are a large range of choices to satisfy evener the fussiest of appetites or the strictest dietary needs. We are 7 minutes away from NJ Transit Pt Pleasant Beach train stop. About 10 minutes from Garden State Parkway. 45 minutes from Newark Airport & 2 hrs away from NYC via NJ Transit or car. *In peak summer, there is a FREE shuttle that takes you around town, including downtown shopping area, beach, beach, boardwalk & lots of restaurants so you don't have to worry about parking. If you need additional parking, just let us know & we can recommend other options. We have another great rental, a 2 bedroom house, right next door, that sleeps families up to 6 persons. We have some beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys & beach cart in a private shed for your use. We also have a hose to rinse sand off. However, if you are traveling from out-of-town we can provide towels and/or sheets, upon prior request, fyi.
