Fish all night! Coffee on the porch! Come get a taste of "Old False River" in our original 1960s lakefront fishing cabin. Fall in love with retro-fabulous and everything vintage! Steps from the water, this camp sits on a giant 75 foot lot with a carport and cozy screened-in porch. The inside is super clean with central air and heat and 2 window units. There's 2 swings - 1 on the pier and 1 under the porch, a fire pit, and tons of room for a big cookout! party barge can be rented The space Bedrooms: – Room 1: This is the master bedroom with a king-sized bed located towards the water. It has a window behind the bed to peek at the lake. It has an extra fan and blankets, its own window unit, and a private bathroom with a shower. Also comes with a TV with Netflix and a closet to hang clothes. – Room 2: This room has 2 single beds with a large dresser. It has access to the bath attached to the master, but the door can be locked from the inside. Also equipped with an extra fan, pillows, blankets, and AC. – Room 3: This room is next to the other 2 and has a full size bed and uses the common bathroom. It has a window towards the front yard with curtains. It has a small closet . Kitchen: Open layout kitchen with oven, a four-burner electric stove, and an island w/ barstools. Fully equipped, comes with: Colander Pressure Cooker / Slow Cooker 2 cutting boards Set of cooking knives 1 dishwasher Wine opener Blender Microwave Plenty of pots/pans/cooking utensils Wine glasses, water glasses, champagne glasses Rice cooker Toaster 4 barstools Living Room: Extending from the kitchen, in an open layout space. Has a large window with a stellar view of the lake. Comes with: Sofa Cozy Chair Coffee Table Firestick TV w/ Netflix Window AC Unit Ceiling fan w/ Remote Control Glass Dining Table facing the water Outdoor area: Our patio comes with a screened-in porch and ceiling fans so you can enjoy the breeze mosquito-free. We have a gas barbecue pit and outdoor string lighting for having the coziest evenings in good company. There’s also a large yard with soft grass and a shady tree making for the perfect picnic space or play area for the kids! A fire pit is there for cozy evenings . We have a fish cleaning station next to the storage cabin for all you fishermen, too. Enjoy direct access to the pier w/ fishing decks, and a spacious covered deck with a swing. Guest access Covered parking for 1 car and extra room for 2 more vehicles. You can easily have a boat trailer park here but be wary of the rocky driveway as it may make it difficult. Consider parking your trailer at the top of the hill. Total Parking: 4 vehicles + 1 trailer Other things to note Looking for a weekend getaway with the fam? But don't forget, with False River, comes lots of little critters. You may run into minks, otters, lizards, mosquitos, horseflies (they don't bite), spiders, snakes, etc. So prepare by bringing mosquito spray or using the spray we provide on the shelf next to the back door.
