Up the circular staircase, you'll find another amazing bedroom that overlooks the treetops. This light-filled aerie has a queen-size bed with an extra firm orthopedic memory foam mattress, an opening skylight, and custom-built desk & closet. The spacious bathroom has under-floor heating, a large walk-in shower, and vanity. (Please note that the bathroom is adjacent to the kitchen.) There's off-street parking for up to 3 vehicles. Just steps from the door is a little-known open space with over 600 acres of pine forest, wildlife, and hiking trails with views of the Swan Mountains and Glacier National Park in the distance. A large store, coffee hut, and gas station are just four blocks away. Super 1 and Safeway supermarkets are a 10-minute drive. Historic downtown Whitefish is a short 15 minute drive, Big Mountain Ski Area is 25 minutes, Glacier National Park is 30 minutes, Glacier International Airport is 15 minutes, and the North Kalispell shopping area (Costco, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, etc.) is 10 minutes south.
