Just let us know a day ahead so we can be sure to be home for the time frame you select (starting at/after 1 pm). No extra charge. If you need a kitchen appliance that’s not on the premises, ask the host to see if one is available to borrow. If you’d like to ship anything (boxes no more than 25 lbs.) here in advance, feel free to do so. Ask the host for address information, and we’ll have your packages inside for you when you arrive. Our 1,300 sq. ft. home is professionally designed and optimized for a high-comfort overnight stay for your registered guests.. To ensure you have plenty of room to lounge and dine, we provide proper indoor seating for six (four at the dining table and two at the kitchen island). We love hosting families visiting local relatives! While the interior is best suited for up to six, our 1,200 sq. ft.+ hardscaped patio and pool are perfect for small daytime gatherings. From Memorial Day through November, you are welcome to have visitors join you (up to a total of ten people, guests and visitors, on the property) during the day (7:00 AM – 11:00 PM), a total of six in other months -- enabling you to host a peaceful poolside brunch or afternoon without the house feeling 'crowded’ or the Worcester noise ordinance violated. ★ " There's something special about a place that feels like home. Plenty of street parking except for 12/1-4/30 [2am-6am] during Worcester's parking ban for snow, but then one additional parking space is available in the Host's driveway. Guest access Entire upper floor space is included in this rental except for the locked shed outside. Please make yourself at home! Backyard is subject to maintenance, watering & pool servicing, usually conducted weekday mornings. Other things to note Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the property with respect. Please note the backyard is outside so pollen, leaves, bird droppings, insects and wildlife will be there too. The water feature is turned off from about 10/15 through 6/15. Outside planters and furniture are in storage during the cold weather, from about 10/15-5/30. Pool open: Memorial Day through September 15, weather permitting. Gardener will have weekday access to back yard for maintenance, up to 1 pm. Bathroom Note: The bathroom includes a traditional bathtub/shower combination that requires stepping over the tub wall to enter. Grab bars are provided, but guests with mobility or balance concerns should consider whether this arrangement will meet their needs. Pool Heating: The pool can be heated to approximately 81°F upon request during periods when guests intend to use it. It is not continuously maintained at its target temperature throughout a reservation. If you anticipate using the pool during your stay, simply let us know the days or approximate times you plan to swim and we’ll gladly have it heated and ready for you. A few hours’ notice is appreciated. To help maintain water temperature and conserve energy, the solar cover should be placed on the pool whenever it will not be used for more than four hours. Smart devices and cameras on the property For transparency, here’s what’s on site: Amazon Echo Show (kitchen) and Apple HomePod Minis (kitchen, bathroom, and each bedroom). These are smart voice-activated speakers used for music, weather, and other conveniences that record the audio after the wake command (e.g., 'Hey, Siri', but are processed on device, not sent to Apple). They are not monitored by us, do not save recordings we can access, and guests are free to unplug them during their stay. Outdoor Ring cameras (front + back exterior). These record video only (no interior recording) and are saved for up to 60 days for security. No cameras inside the living spaces (Echo has camera but is disabled and tape placed over it).
