Private suite in a Historic (1840s) house in desirable Arlington Center location. Is walkable to the vibrant town center, great restaurants, coffee shops, Whole Foods, CVS, and many shops. This place is ideal for visiting Arlington, Medford, Somerville, Cambridge, Boston, Belmont, Lexington, Burlington, Burlington, Woburn, Wakefield, or for proximity to many colleges without the high cost of staying in Boston (Uber/Lyft 20 min to Boston, 7 min to Tufts, 10 min to Harvard, 17 min to MIT, 25 min to Wellesley, Brandeis, Babson, etc.). Several different buses are 50 feet away and go to Alewife, MIT, Harvard, Porter, Davis Square, etc. The space is private, with it's own entrance inside the home and includes a white noise machine for sensitive sleepers. No parking available. Upon entering the home's foyer, switch on the light on the left wall (over the radiator, near stairs), if needed. You will walk straight up 1 flight steps to a private entrance (flamingo on door, straight ahead). On the landing, turn on a light switch labeled "3rd” Please pay attention and hold the handrail when walking up and down the steps into the 3rd floor space, as it’s somewhat narrow and there is a low ceiling at the top of the 3rd floor stairwell. The host does not live on site but is available via text until 9pm daily and will respond to your questions right away. The neighborhood is friendly, walkable, and has many restaurants nearby. A trip to Boston, Cambridge or Somerville is easily accessible via public transportation (right across the street). Over 15 restaurants are just a few minutes away. Alternately, if you like to prepare your own food, Whole Foods is right across the street and Stop & Shop is a 5 minute walk. No parking available on site. Located right in the Town Center and can walk to everything Arlington has to offer, including bus (right across the street) and other transportation options. Buses can be picked up right across the street to take you to Boston (via Alewife), Cambridge (77), Medford (87), Somerville (77), Burlington (350), and several other nearby towns. If you're a cyclist, the house is a 30 second bike ride to the Minuteman Bike Trail, which takes you to the Alewife Train Station (8 min) or allows for a leisurely ride into Somerville, Cambridge, Lexington, or Concord. My wonderful tenants live in the apartments below this rental, so please be respectful of them and arrive during check in hours only (2-8pm). If you must arrive later than 8pm, please let me know.
