Beautiful and spacious, our new build ohana features 2 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeper sofa, with a light and airy open concept that takes advantage of the marvelous NE trade winds. Enjoy the spectacular ocean and mountain views, and take advantage of the peaceful hike down to watch the waves of the infamous "Jaws" right out your front door. The house sits on the back of the property, surrounded by fruit trees for your enjoyment and seclusion from your neighbors. Our Ideal Guests: Our ideal guests are visitors that want to experience living the island life and would like to get away from the touristy resorts. Maui’s North shore has many adventures waiting for you to discover, and our home is in the perfect location to take advantage of finding adventure in all directions. OUR HOME: Our new build home has everything a family or a pair of couples would need for their stay to feel like home. Our home easily accommodates six people comfortably, with lots of indoor as well as outdoor living space including our covered wraparound lanai that takes advantage of the stunning Pacific Ocean and Haleakala Mountain View’s. THE SPACE: The living space is open airy and inviting, with 10 foot tall ceilings and massive floor to ceiling sliding glass doors facing the ocean that when opened up you feel like you’re in the outdoors while in the comforts of a beautiful home. KITCHEN: The kitchen comes fully stocked with everything you’ll need to make any meal no matter the size. Featuring an amazingly spacious Island with bar chairs great for entertaining and making those family meals that can also be eaten outside on the outdoor dining set overlooking the ocean. BEDROOMS: The master bedroom includes a king size bed, a full size dresser, and a closet for storage. Also perks of the master bedroom include having its own full-size en-suite plus outside access to the lanai space boasting the beautiful ocean views. The guest bedroom includes a twin size daybed with a twin pull out trundle and dresser bins for storage with plenty of space for a portable crib if needed. The closet in this space holds all of the extra pillows and blankets you’ll need, and don’t forget to take advantage of the amazing Haleakala mountain views. GUEST BATHROOM: This bathroom is equipped with a full size tub great for soaking after a fun day of adventures. Bathrooms are stocked with towels, toilet paper, soaps, shampoo and conditioner, as well as a hair dryer for your convenience. EXTRAS: There are smart Tv’s in both bedrooms as well as in the living room. The entire home has it's own wireless internet access. The hall closet is fully stocked with bath towels, extra bed sheets, vacuum, broom, some cleaning supplies as well as cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink. Also to make your stay more at ease, there are beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, cooler, guidebooks, family games and an all around warm cozy at home feeling waiting for your stay. You are welcome to roam the property and help your self to fresh fruit when in season. We also have a washer and dryer on site as well as an outdoor BBQ and tools to cook up some yummy food. FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN: We love children and have 6 of our own. Included for your convenience is a portable crib, as well as a high chair seat that can be attached to one of the kitchen bar stool seats, or the out door dining seats. If you’re reservation includes children, we ask that you respect our home and space and cleanliness of the home during your stay. Please have children eat and drink in the dining area to avoid sticky fingers and spills throughout the home. At check-out we ask all our guests to leave the house in the manner in which they received it. We are available to answer questions as we live onsite and are home off and on throughout the day in between the hustle and bustle of our busy lives-mostly just shuttling our kids around ;) But most importantly we want you to feel like you are in the comforts of your own home and have your utmost privacy. Haiku Hale Aloha is located on a quiet family friendly dead-end road. The house is situated on the back side of our 2 acre property and shares a driveway with our personal family home that is located at the front of the property. But don't worry, you're far enough away so that you are very much in your own space. This property is 5 minutes away from the nearest waterfall, 10 minutes to the nearest beach, and has an amazing hike down to the infamous "Jaws" for your wave watching pleasure. "Jaws Country Store" is just down the road headed towards Hana, which has a small assortment of conveniences as well as a yummy deli menu to choose from. Haiku Town is 6 minutes down the road for all of your grocery needs as well as food trucks, shopping, coffee shops, and great restaurants to chose from. Don't forget to stop by "Baked on Maui" for your morning coffee and breakfast, just a 5 minute drive headed towards town. Paia and Makawao are also only a 20 minute drive away for your dining, shopping, and people watching pleasures. We highly recommend renting a car during your stay, as the public transit system is not in walking distance, and we are out in the country so most Uber's and Lyfts do not frequently come out this way, and a taxi would be very spendy.
