Island Colony is in the heart of Waikiki, the most popular vacation spot in Waikiki. 5-10 minutes walk to the famous Waikiki beach and just a block away from the International Market Place! Enjoy the large saltwater pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, BBQ, picnic tables, and Fitness room. A very spacious lanai (balcony) that invites the fresh Hawaiian breeze, and a view of the famous Ala Wai Canal! Parking is available in the adjacent parking garage for $40/day (rates are subject to change). The space Aloha, Please be advised that the building management informed us that: Approximately half of the washers and all of the dryers will be available for use on Monday to Friday from 6 PM to 6 AM, and are open on weekends. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. We'll keep you posted if there are any changes to the said schedule. Mahalo nui loa! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This lovely, spacious studio has a very spacious lanai (balcony) that invites the fresh Hawaiian breeze. Relax...as you view the Koolau Mountain Range, as the clouds sway through the valley and capture frequent rainbows in Manoa Valley. This upgraded studio is appointed with 1 king-sized bed and 1 foldable sofa bed. The kitchenette has a glass top burner stove with fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It is also well stocked with silverware, dinnerware, and cookware. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Beach essentials provided: ✔ Beach chairs ✔ Beach towels Guest access The Island Colony is surrounded by many convenience stores (including one on the building's 6th floor), eateries, and boutique shops, all within a block. So, walking is great! Also in the same block is the city Bus stop called "The Bus", where you can go everywhere on the island. There is also the Waikiki Trolley (fee) that is offered at various pickup points nearby. Uber is always an option too! ———— Aloha! Please note that the Fitness Center and Sauna will be temporarily closed for cleaning and sanitation by our maintenance-utility crew daily from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Other things to note Aloha, As part of the building's continuous efforts for safety and property improvements, the AOAO Maintenance Department and a contractor will perform their Annual Preventive Maintenance, Cleaning, & Repairs to the building's 6th-floor Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, & Pool Deck areas. This process will require the TEMPORARY closure of the Pool/Jacuzzi deck (fenced area) starting on Sunday, November 8, 2026, by 9:00 PM. Upon completion, they will re-open on Monday, November 16th, 2026 by 7:00 a.m. (Weather permitting). As part of this important process, the access gate to the Pool/Jacuzzi Deck area will be locked and secured, and ALL of the area’s amenities will not be available for use. They will relocate additional lounge chairs to the open areas of the rec deck to be used by residents and guests during normal operational hours. ********************************************************* The Island Colony has a front desk where you will check In. Our company, as your host, will send your information to register. We will contact you prior to arrival andbe available during your stay. Our office is in Waikiki. We are from the island and will be happy to share great places to see and do! Parking is not included. Guests may park in the adjacent parking garage in the Island Colony for $40/day (rates are subject to change). Please pay the attendant directly (ProPark). The parking booth is all automated and is not attended 24/7. Should you need parking assistance, in front of the IC Front Desk is a Parking Automated Machine/Box that has a button. You can just press the button, and the Parking Manager will be contacted. For another option, you can park for free right along the Ala Wai Canal. And there's also a metered parking space nearby that is free after 5:30 PM. Please take note that the hours & availability for parking may change without prior notice. Accessing the gym requires you to pay a one-time payment of $5/person to the front desk for them to give you a gym pass. The taxes include a 4.712% GET tax, 10.25% TAT tax, and 3% OTAT tax. All are required by the Hawaii government, and will be passed on. ***** IMPORTANT TO NOTE: We do provide beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and beach towels for guests' use.
