Downtown Backyard Oasis

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base in downtown Plymouth. It is just a five minute walk to the 1620 Hotel, Mayflower, Plymouth Rock, beach, waterfront restaurants, Main Street boutiques & coffee shops, etc. Five minute drive to T station (in Kingston) for fun day trips to Boston without the traffic. Easy drive to Cape Cod for day trips as well! This newly renovated, yet charming, 2 bedroom first floor apartment is a perfect get away. The space What makes this Airbnb unique? It’s a One of a kind renovated downtown apartment with a peaceful private backyard! This two family house was built in 1900, so it has the charm of an older home with the awe of a renovated home. Some rooms have the original, yet refinished, hardwood floors. All rooms have been renovated and feature a calming blue coastal paint color, bright open sunshine windows, and furniture arranged for gathering and socializing. This Airbnb actually feels like a home away from home- cozy, peaceful & relaxing. The best….After a busy day of sightseeing, enjoy your meals outside on the private patio or deck & Relax with the peace of the private backyard. More specifics about the Airbnb- The master bedroom is relaxing; it has a king size bed memory foam mattress & black out curtains for a late sleep in. There is a large bureau & large closet to comfortably unpack your belongings & plenty of room to fit a pack n play for a baby. Also, The desk makes it easier to work remotely while traveling. (Our account is signed into YOUTUBETV for access to live cable channels, and guests can sign into any tv apps with your own information - Netflix, etc). The guest bedroom is cozy; it features a full size memory foam mattress & the black out window treatments. The bureau & closet allow you to unpack and feel at home . (There is a toddler bed rail available in case you have a young child who will sleep in this bed) The living room is located off of both bedrooms. There is a Chez lounge and a three cushion sofa for comfortable lounging and socializing. (Many families have young children sleep here since it is located right off of both bedrooms). In both sitting rooms, guests can find a lot of baskets with throw blankets, reading books and board games on shelves- to make you feel more at home and comfortable The TV room is my favorite room of the house. It has 8 windows which let in beautiful sunlight & overlooks the backyard garden. It is perfect for socializing and relaxing- two cushioned sitting chairs, cushioned bench & large sofa- plenty of room to relax and enjoy a movie on the 60 inch flat screen television. The large pull out sofa converts to a queen size mattress with a memory foam topper. (Extra sheets, comforters and pillows are provided if the pull out sofa will be used). This room is located off the front porch, which is the private entrance, and the back porch to the private deck, patio, and backyard. This room also opens up into the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make a great meal- a lot of plates, bowls, serving bowls, platters, cutting boards, blender, coffee machine, k cup machine, French press, toaster, pots & pans, gas stove and oven. The kitchen table sits 4 and the island sits 3 where guests can enjoy views of the backyard. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination with shampoo, conditioner, bath gel provided. Plenty of hooks to hang bath and beach towels. The private back deck & patio are perfect for your gathering. The deck offers a small table with an umbrella to enjoy a drink or breakfast and coffee, etc with four chairs. In addition, The private backyard and patio have a lot of furniture for outdoor socialization, and The gas grill allows you to cook a delicious meal with a lot less clean up! Also, There are 3 Adirondack chairs around the fire pit, and marshmallow skewers to enjoy dessert. The WiFi reaches both locations and there is an outside charging dock located near the fire pit. The backyard garden features diverse plants & shrubs & 2 unique wooden carved birdhouses, so it is a unique spot to relax while being downtown! Please note: A high chair, pack n play, small stroller & toddler bed rail are available for guests to use. Beach towels & beach blankets are also provided. In the warmer months, both bedrooms have window AC units as well as the tv room, which cools down the whole Airbnb. In addition, there are floor fans and ceiling fans. Free Street parking can usually be found directly in front of the Airbnb, and if not, close by on the street. There is no assigned street parking, but finding a parking spot will never be an issue. There is a private door code to use upon check in; it is an easy self check in process, which allows flexibility for guests when they choose to check in on the arrival date. The airbnb is fully private. There are no shared spaces with guests and hosts. Guest access Almost everything you need is within walking distance from the house! A short walk away are all waterfront restaurants, bars, boutiques, coffee shops, fish market etc as well as Nelson beach, the Plymouth waterfront, and the 1620 hotel. A two minute drive away is a grocery store and gas station. Also, Our house is right next to the Thanksgiving and Fourth of July parade route! Free parking is located anywhere on the street! (PLEASE NOTE- Fourth of July parade day & Thanksgiving parade day are extremely popular tourist days; public parking on the street will be busy! We advise guests NOT to move their cars from their parked spots on these two parade days when visiting; it will be harder to find a street parking spot again. It’s better to plan to walk where ever downtown or take an Uber if your destination is further away) Other things to note My husband, daughter, and I (and our mini Aussie dog- he’s well trained & you probably won’t even notice he is here) live on the second and third floors of the two family house. We have our own entrance to our home and everything is fully separate and private.
