We are within 12 miles of Glacier National Park 5 miles from Hungry Horse Dam and reservoir Fishing is good in the river and most lakes around here In the winter Our local ski area in Whitefish is close with many activities cross country skiing at Izaak Walton Inn Essex Montana about 30 miles from hungry horse,,And many local ski trails around our Flathead Valley We are one block off of the highway you can bike or walk anywhere in town I have bikes you may use, our town is only three blocks long we have a museum and gift stores,we also have kayaks you can use they can be taken to the reservoir Or lion lake only minutes away if you are experienced you can float down the river right to the house Please do not use wipes in the toilet our septic does not handle that if you smoke you can smoke on the back deck or anywhere out in the yard I grow Medical Cannabis,if the smell bothers you,,this room may not be for you ,your pets are welcome there are three restaurants and 2 gas stations, two churches wildlife Museum in our small community.
