We live FULLTIME in the property on the other side of the cottage Original old hard wood floors throughout the house. They will creak as old floors do, We live FULLTIME in one side of the house with our two wild and crazy kitties and sometimes you will hear them frolicking and playing down the side hall. They do not come into the guest space. You may see them in the backyard. They refuse to observe quiet time at night. So if you are a light sleeper you might wish to bring ear plugs. We live in the city so depending on if there is a Tulane football or baseball game you can hear the crowd at the game, especially if they make a touchdown and traffic will be heavier.Plus you will hear the Tulane band practise.There is One bedroom and a common space off the living room with a double bed. The bathroom is shared and you walk through a bedroom to get to it. Guest access You will have access to the entire space and there is ONE bathroom off the master suite. You share the one bathroom off a bedroom. you will have to walk through the bedroom to use it. This cottage is over 100 years old and the floors will creak as old floors do. We don't have the latest and greatest tv's. So this isn't the place to watch the game. You came to spend time in New Orleans...right We live on the other side of the house. , there is a door that separates the spaces and we'll probably encounter you coming and going during your stay - always glad to help you find your way around, and we enjoy meeting our guests. We'll give you plenty of space and privacy, but it you need anything at all - we're here on the property and always available by text or phone as well. If you need total privacy, we are always around to help you.
