We are a private 5 acre botanical estate alive with birds & flowers. 20min gorgeous nature walk down our road to Onomea Bay, Donkey Trail Hike, Botanic Garden and popular Scenic Route. 🌿✨️Couples or Individual Lomilomi Hawaiian Massage appointments are available on site during your stay with Malama Honua Massage Therapy✨️🌿 The space The Exquisite Guest Suite is comprised of two side by side Studios, perfect for 2-4 persons traveling together who need their own space & privacy. There is one private, pristine bathroom for the Guest Suite. The Guest Suite is a peaceful, immaculate and airy delight. •Our guests thoroughly enjoy being here on these 5 acres. They often mention that staying at Onomea is a highlight of their visit to Hawai'i Island. •The Guest Suite is private and separate from the main home. Each Studio of the Guest Suite has its own private entrance and outdoor sitting area. The Guest Suite has a kitchenette with full refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, french press & delicious coffees. A tea kettle & Hawaiian teas. A pristine bathroom. •Also in the Guest Suite: cookies, treats & soft drinks for your welcome. A blender for your healthy smoothies - you can buy your fresh, tropical fruit om Downtown Hilo Farmers Market. Large Brita water filter jug in refrigerator. A Reverse Osmosis filtration system provides refreshing drinking water. A CD player/radio - with a selection of relaxing Hawaiian Music CDs. •Sleep Time: The two comfortable queen beds are adorned with fresh-smelling, crisp-white, high quality 100% cotton linen. •Private Bathroom: Soft, fluffy white towels, wash cloths and refreshing toiletries for your shower time. The Guest Suite has its own private bathroom. •Beach Time: Beach towels are provided with a cooler bag & cooler blocks. •Nature: Numerous bird feeders in the garden cater to the Northern Cardinals, Red-Crested Cardinals, Java Finches, golden Saffron Finches, Nutmeg Mannikins, White Eyed finches, Yellow-Fronted Canaries, Waxbills, Zebra Doves, Spotted Doves. Just after sunrise flocks of white Egret birds fly gracefully over the property from the ocean direction towards upcountry farm fields. •We have a Koi fish pond with its delightful small waterfall. Beyond the pond, is a large, lush-green, landscaped Infinity lawn lined with fragrant magnolia trees & colorful cattleya orchids, complete with an ocean view. Here you will find the ocean-facing Adirondack lounger chairs to enjoy your early morning coffee & sunrise extravaganza. •Outdoor Time: Outside the Studio entrances there is a seating area with two comfortable armchairs & side table. •An early morning short walk down our quiet road leads to the ocean and beautiful Onomea Bay & the Botanic Gardens. •Onomea Sugar Plantation History: The property & its surrounds has a wonderful history from Hawaii's Sugar Plantation Days of yesteryear. You are staying on the site where the plantation manager's home used to be. •Please note cooking is not permitted inside the studios. We try to keep the space feeling as fresh & clean as possible for you and future guests to enjoy. The microwave is available to heat up the ono/delicious local delicacies from nearby Downtown Hilo. Our guests also enjoy strolling around the Lili'uokalani Gardens in Hilo at sunset and then having their meals at the many restaurants in Hilo. ●Please note: 😺 We have cats. Outdoor, well-fed, friendly, peaceful cats. As cute as they are they are not permitted inside the Airbnb spaces. We have an Airbnb authorised Exemption and are unable to accommodate guests with service animals/ESA as our priority is to look after the well-being & care of our rescue cat family.
