The space As you approach this charming cottage, you can see the pond at the end of the street. It is the perfect spot for swimming on hot summer days! As you enter through the front door of this bright blue home, it gets you in the "vacation" state of mind right way. The open living room is so inviting with bright blue couches, hardwood floors throughout and flat screen TV above the fireplace. The large coffee table is the perfect place to start a puzzle or have a family game night. The sky lights (with shades) allow you start your day in a sunny mood and basked in natural light. A weathered entry table is an easy spot to drop your keys while the nearby basket can hold your shoes and sweaters/light jackets can be placed on the wall hooks. The decorative ladder leads to a small loft area (not used as a living space). The dining area for four is perfect in the cozy kitchen with small gas stove and oven, microwave, and refrigerator (there is not a dishwasher). Plenty of counter space available to create meals and a coffee station is staged to help you get started in the mornings. If you need more space, the table can be folded down and provide dining space for two. A nearby window A/C keeps you cool but you can always open a window to allow the Cape breezes in. The kitchen door leads to the large fenced-in back yard - perfect space for Fido to spend their days sniffing new smells or laying in a sunny spot on the spacious platform deck. Meanwhile the human family members can enjoy cooking on the gas grill or making s'mores over the fit pit and under the stars. Off of the kitchen, there is an all-purpose room that has a desk with accompanying chair for those who need to work or learn remotely. This is also where you'll find a selection of games to keep you busy on a rainy day. The stackable washer and dryer are tucked away while there is an adorable feeding station set up for your dog. The first bedroom has a queen sized bed and window A/C to help cool the hot summer nights. There is a storage closet across the hall with sliding barn doors - you'll find cleaning supplies and extras here. The second bedroom has a both a full size and a twin size bed. There is another window A/C in this bedroom as well as a fan for circulating the cool air. Nearby, the full bathroom with tub/shower combination, pedestal sink and unique blue iridescent tile to evoke the feel of ocean waves. After a day swimming on Long Pond (only 50 feet away) or spending the day shopping along Route 28, coming home to a rinse in the outdoor shower will be the quintessential Cape experience!
