There are wild chickens, chicks and roosters that inhabit the neighborhood as part of the local Hawaiian vibe. There is crowing from the roosters that remains constant throughout the day (especially in the early morning starting at 5am) in case you are a light sleeper. There is a high potential for noise on the weekends with live music as we sometimes hold events on the lawn i.e. weddings, birthdays, picnics, photoshoots, lei making classes, etc. The home is located very close to the beach and other wildlife. Native ants, flies, mosquitos, roaches, geckos are sometimes present. We have screens on all the windows and and doors to keep pests out but it is best to not keep food out as it can attract insects. Just as the beautiful flowers and indescribable natural beauty is indivisible with Hawaiian life, so are it’s creatures big and small, as any local will tell you. We have professional cleaners that deep clean after every guest stay and exterminators that come once a month for the home. We seek to provide a tidy area for our guests to stay.
