The Makani A Kai is an intimate resort in Ma'alaea, Maui with only 24 units, and one of only two complexes at the end of Hauoli Street that have full beach-front access. The beach is a stone's throw from this bright spacious ground level, single-story condo, with lovely views of Sugar Beach, Ma'alaea Bay, and Haleakala volcano. The condo is centrally located for easy day trips anywhere on the island, and conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, and boating at the Ma'alaea Harbor. The fully-stocked gourmet kitchen, new appliances, and outdoor seaside bbq area make it easy and fun to prepare meals at home. Pillows, towels, sheets, boogie boards, beach toys, cooler, beach chairs, and umbrella are included. There is a private balcony, saltwater pool, 2 Weber BBQs, and lounge chairs on the spacious lawn running parallel to the beach just steps from your front door. A free on-site parking spot is included as well as plentiful street parking. Split air conditioning and ceiling fans in each room create a cool, tranquil retreat year round. The table in the living room seats up to 4 people and is ideal for indoor dining or can be used as a dedicated workspace with a view of the ocean (it is not in a separate room). Guest access Guests will have access to the entire condo except for 2 small cabinets in the closet and kitchen which are used for storage. The beautifully manicured grounds are open to guests as well as the beachfront pool, beachfront BBQ / dining patio, and lawn chairs.
