Walking paths to shops, beaches, outdoor markets, cafes and grocery store are out the front door. Evenings dazzle here as you unwind and relax under twinkling cafe lights. You'll come for the beach but you'll stay for the rainbows. The space "Slow yourself down" is an actual motto here on the island of Kauai. As soon as you step inside you’ll feel the true spirit of Aloha, reminding you to leave your cares at the door. We designed every element of Hibiscus House for maximum connection with nature from the shaded screened-in lanai to the private garden filled with fragrant flowers and fruit trees. This 3bd, 2bth home is perfect for families, honeymooners or couples traveling together. The Primary Suite with jetted tub is located in a separate wing of the house with 360 degree views of the tropical foliage and mountains. On the main floor, you'll find two queen rooms with a shared bath, one with a private open lanai under the tangerine tree. The trade winds blow straight through the open concept living area, making it feel like you’re in an outdoor paradise in every room. Kauai’s weather is usually very mild even during summer, but we equipped each bedroom with its own Air Conditioner just in case. The kitchen is thoughtfully prepared with everything you'll need for family meals including quality appliances and serving ware for that extra special touch. Hideways Beach, Queens Bath and the 1 Hotel's public beach (Puu Poa Beach) and Makai Golf Course are within walking distance. You’ll forget all your worries with two beach cruiser bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, body boards and laundry room for all the comforts of home. Princeville is a peaceful residential community that comes alive with the sunrise and quiets down at sunset. Please be advised that Hibiscus House is not conducive to parties, including bachelorette and bachelor parties, or events. Neighborhood Quiet Hour is actively patrolled from 9pm-8am. Guest access We have parking on site in our driveway. It is limited to two small vehicles or one large vehicle. There is no on-street, garage or overflow parking. Other things to note Proximity to beaches. We are located in Princeville, which is about a 10 minute drive to both Hanalei Bay Beach and Anini Beach - these are large amazing beaches with facilities and lifeguards. We’re also a short distance (about 5 to 15mins) walking or biking to many beautiful local beaches like Puu Poa Beach (1 Hotel Beach), Hideaways Beach, Sea Lodge Beach, Anini Beach, Queens Bath and Turtle Cove. These are wonderful natural areas that require a short hike or adventurous climb down to the water, since Princeville itself sits on a cliff above Hanalei Town.
