It is only a 5-10 min drive to Downtown and the main hospitals, and a 10-15 min drive to the main shopping centers (Ala Moana, Ward/Kakaako etc.) and world-renown Waikiki. Optimized for remote workers with fast internet download and upload speeds along with foldable desk and work space. The space You will be staying in the separate, downstairs unit of our primary residence. The unit is about 500 sq ft (which is a standard size for Honolulu). It has all you need for a month+ stay, including a kitchen with a hot plate, convection microwave, Instant Pot, toaster, water kettle, and coffee maker. Perhaps the most outstanding quality of our home is the beautiful outdoor space. We have a spacious yard-a rarity in Honolulu-with lawn areas and a gazebo that we share with our guests. We maintain the landscaping with flowers, local plants and greenery. Our home is located in Nuuanu Valley which is a cooler, greener part of the island. ** 2 tandem parking spots available if the cars are on the smaller end. This is also a rarity in Metro-Honolulu.** Guest access ***Please be advised that Honolulu rentals are legally required to adhere to a minimum stay of 90 days. However, we are among the select few properties that have been grandfathered in, allowing us to legally offer stays of 30 days or more. If you're considering a booking for less than 90 days, you can be confident that you are booking with a fully compliant and legal rental operation. Due to stringent short-term rental regulations, we are required to enforce a 30-day minimum stay policy. However, you are welcome to stay for a shorter duration as long as the booking covers the 30-day period. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding this policy. If your preferred dates are unavailable, we encourage you to reach out with your inquiry, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.*** We have a tandem parking spot (2 small cars) available for our guests. This is another rarity in Honolulu. No need to worry about finding street parking. If you are not renting a car, The Bus is a great option for transportation in Honolulu. They have an extensive bus line, with plenty of bus stops in our neighborhood. There are two bus stops, for both directions, just outside our driveway! We also have 1 bike available if you prefer that method of transportation. Other things to note Only book our place if you are ok with foot noise from our upstairs unit. We do our best to keep the noise down and make hardly any noise at night. People that have stayed with us in the past say the noise is minimal. With that said, the overall quietness of the neighborhood and the way our home is situated away from the road/traffic noise is very hard to beat in Metro Honolulu! There is no stove due to Hawaii regulations, but it has everything else that a full size kitchen has, and is more than adequate space. Please also note that the closets are small but should be enough space for travelers. The closets were enough space for long-term tenants. **Lastly, please understand that we only provide 1-2 days supply of toilet paper, paper towels, soaps and essentials.
