Bright, sunny home with exquisite gardens on quiet street in historic Padanaram village. 1 block from water. Beautiful beaches, walking/hiking/biking trails, local galleries, restaurants, vineyards and historic New Bedford right around the corner. The space The house is filled with art work and amazing books for your enjoyment. Please return the books to their place once you are finished looking. I have a smart TV with Netflix . My organic vegetable garden with herbs are open for you to use. Since this is my home and not a summer rental or property that was purchased for generating income I expect my guest to treat everything here as if it was your own home. I expect that you will not invite others to visit you in my home during your stay. My home is for my reviewed Airbnb guests only. I ask that you contact me and ask my permission if you would like to have a friend stop in. Guest access The entire house is yours to enjoy. All items in the cabinets in the host kitchen are yours to enjoy. The cabinets in the hallway and dining room contain my china and glassware and linens and sundry items that I will not remove but I ask that they not be used. There is a washer and dryer that you may use in the closet in the dining room. There is also a line out back. I will leave laundry detergent/bleach for your use There is brand new wall to wall carpeting in the master bedroom and den. I ask that you remove your shoes when entering those rooms. Thanks Other things to note The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood and I ask my guests to be aware when you come back late at night to be quiet outside. I suggest that when you leave for the day and you will not be back until after nightfall you should leave the outside light on at the entrance. Please remember to shut outside light off once you return home for the night. The driveway has parking for two vehicles. If there is a third vehicle, which I do not anticipate that car should be parked off the street between the opening in the stone wall. Please close windows if you will be gone for the entire day and there is a forecast of rain. You can always call me if you forgot and need me to close them. Since there is no central air and each of the bedrooms has its own air conditioner please use your judgement to leave it on if you are going to be out all day . It usually takes a short time to bring the rooms to a comfortable temperature for sleeping once they are put on.
