Lovely Beachfront Condo in Makaha, Hawaii
Newly updated 1 bedroom beachfront property with killer views of one of the loveliest beaches in Oahu. Enjoy the views of Papaoneone beach from the living room, kitchen, and patio. You may just spot turtles or whales! Walk downstairs to enjoy the white sand beach and turquoise waters. Or take a drive to view the vistas of the Leeward side: the surf of Mākaha Beach, the beauty of Mākua Valley, or the rugged loveliness of the end of the road at Kaʻena. 1 month minimum until further notice. The space We have remodeled the unit to echo its beachfront character and to invoke a Hawaiian sense of place. Art by Native Hawaiian and local artists adorn the walls. Living room and Kitchen face patio and all overlook Papaoneone beach below. There is a bathroom (with shower/large tub) and a large closet just off the hallway. Then there is queen bedroom with a desk area mountain side. Shutters, ceiling fans, TVs in both living room and bedroom. The unit has Wifi and we will be providing Youtube TV with HBO and Showtime on a Chromecast computer (for convenience). You can also stream any programs that are compatible with Chromcast on the sets. Guest access Gated parking, one space. Only one registered car to the unit. Other things to note When the unit isn't being rented by guests, it's our getaway from it all home. We have tried to make it the place of comfort and respite. Please no smoking, parties, or pets. We do clean certain areas of the apartment with essential oils that may be irritating to animals. The unit can accommodate up to a max of 3 people ($20/day extra for the third). Any additional occupants beyond the max will be charged $50/per person/day. Some housekeeping matters: The State/County of Honolulu require that all rentals be subject to an excise tax --4.5%. In addition, any rentals that are less than 6 months must be subject to a Transient Accommodations Tax of 13.25%. The rate above includes the base rental plus the excise (and if appropriate, the TAT), but we will itemize separately for your information. There is a 10% discount off the base for 60-89 days, 15% for 90+ bookings. Note: The County law that would’ve required a minimum 3 month stay is not in effect per court order.
