Additionally, the property includes community BBQ areas, an on-site laundromat that operates on a card-only system exclusive to the resort, and a selection of dining and bar options within walking distance, giving you ample opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment. Other things to note A quick heads-up: the responsible party renting this beautiful retreat needs to be 21 or older—because we all know tropical cocktails and good times are best enjoyed responsibly! And now, for the fun part—Kauai’s wild charm! You may notice some local “wildlife” that might surprise you if you’re new to the island. We’re talking feral chickens, roosters, and geckos galore! (Don’t worry, the geckos are friendly—they’re the island’s unofficial bug police!) And those roaches? They’re not that scary—they’re basically Hawaii’s state bird. But in all seriousness, you might encounter a few extra critters like centipedes and ants, especially during rainy season when the gnats come out to party.
