Charming bungalow in established neighborhood. Great local eats, a lovely park, and a 10 minute drive downtown. Breakfast on the patio, relax in the backyard. Kid friendly! Suggestions for a night on the town if you want! The space This is a wonderful old house with delightful woodwork and old well worn floors. It is a working space, not a fancy but practical and a little travel worn. It is furnished with well loved antiques and decorated with collectibles. It is children friendly. There is a play space in the backyard complete with a mud kitchen that your family is free to use. Just be respectful of the big garden which is not for playing! Guest access You will be free to use the laundry facilities, spend time in the back yard and share the common spaces. Please note the basement is a working space and is not for guest use. You may use the laundry in the basement but not the sleeping spaces. All the beds advertised on Airbnb are on the main floor. Other things to note My schedule varies from week to week, sometimes I am visiting grand children, but if I am working in Des Moines I will likely be staying in the garage studio. If both spaces are rented and I am in town I may sleep in the basement. If I do stay in the basement I will let you know ahead of time and you will not see or hear me. If I am in the garage/studio it is entirely separate and I park in back so you will have the driveway.
