Located in Lee, Massachusetts, Brookside Farm is in the heart of the Berkshires. Just a mile from town and 1.2mi from the entrance of the Mass pike (I90). Set back on a small rural road that is popular for walking, jogging and bike riding alike. With neighboring towns such as Stockbridge, Great Barrington, Lenox, and Williamstown, you have plenty of options for fine dining, theater, art, museums, hiking, swimming, kayak and canoeing, golf, tennis, skiing, snow shoeing, and cross-country skiing. If your wish is to stay on property for the length of your stay, there are walking trails, a private pond, a babbling brook for catching frogs or soaking your feet, and fields of grass to wander in. You might need some food: There is a Big Y grocery store in downtown Lee, Guido’s Fresh MarketPlace in both Lenox and Great Barrington for quality meats, seafoods, cheeses, vegetables, cut flowers and arrangements, and other hard to find quality items, this just to name a few. There is public bus transportation from Main Street, Lee. The nearest airports are Albany, NY (ALB) just under an hour drive, and Hartford, CT (BDL) just over an hour drive. Boston Logan (BOS) is an easy 2hr drive on the Mass Pike. The Hudson, NY train station is about a 40 to 45 minute drive.
