Historic Shotgun Home 5-minute Drive to Bourbon St

Enjoy a one of a kind experience at this centrally-located historic shotgun home in New Orleans. Absorb the true Nola culture; close to ALL sites and areas of interest— less than 1.5 miles to the French Quarter, less than a mile to Bayou St. John, less than 1.5 miles to mid-city, and 5 minutes to Caesars Superdome to name a few! We are also conveniently located (about a 3 min walk) to the Street Car located at Canal Street which will take you straight into Nola City. Whole Foods 2 minutes away. The space Our home is a classic Nola Shotgun, meaning we have one house split into two separate sides (duplex) with their own entry doors. When staying at our home, you will have access to one entire side of the home, which includes: a living room, a full kitchen, two bedrooms, a full bathroom, laundry room, and back door access to our private back yard. We do live in the other side of the house but will not be accessing your side of the home for any reason. Guest access We do live in a residential neighborhood, therefore parking will be street parking. You can park in front of our home during your stay. If the spaces in front of our home become unavailable for whatever reason, you can park anywhere on the street (important: please be sure you park in the correct direction on street or you can receive a fine) Other things to note As our city continues to recover from hurricane Ida and other storms in the area, there may be a small chance power could go out for a brief time during your stay. Outages span across the entire Orleans parish, and we will try to alert you via Airbnb if we notice any outages during your stay, but typically, outages do not last more than 30 minutes. Please be aware of this when booking, but also note that outages do happen all over New Orleans and can happen in any airbnb that you rent in the area.
