There is a wide open living room and kitchen. Cathedral ceilings with large south facing windows offering passive solar heat. Large yard and wrap around deck with hiking trails right outside the door. Fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, Vitamix, gas range and oven. Roast marshmallows for s’mores around a wood fire outside under the stars. It is so quiet and set back from the road the only sounds you may hear at night are owls, coyotes, and crickets. If you are a smaller group or couple, we suggest booking our two bedroom option, "Cozy Chalet Nestled in the Woods of Ashfield." For the two bedroom option we block off the upstairs. There will never been other guests renting the home during your stay. There is no cell service in Ashfield but our high speed internet allows texts, video streaming and calls (if you turn on WiFi calling in your phone settings). There is also a landline. She will give you plenty of space during your stay, but please note that Sundays are when she teaches outdoor classes on the lawn from 10am-4pm. During the week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) she is on site in the gardens and basement tending to her herbal company. Please do not enter her apothecary on the ground level unless you're invited with her.
