Aloha, our home is unique called a yurt. It is situated in the heart of Kona Coffee and farming region, yet conveniently located next to many shops, restaurants, farmers markets and beaches. Our yurt is 900 sqft, with two bedrooms and a loft. It has a covered lanai overlooking our gorgeous Macadamia Nut orchard and also has small ocean and mountain views. Fully stocked to have a magical farm Yurt experience. We live on the farm too and the yurt has privacy but located in front of my cabin. The Maluhia Yurt is a farm experience. We are a fully operating macadamia nut farm Monday-Friday. There is other units on the farm as well, there is a lot of trees separating the unit for privacy though from the other yurt and residences on the farm. My Ohana cabin that I live in is located behind the yurt and we share parking. The single bed for the 5th guest is in the loft with minimable head clearance, so best for a child or young adult. We would love to host your Local Hawaiian Farm experience during your visit to Hawaii to get a taste of local living and life. You do not need 4wd for this farm stay, most of road is paved. I will be available anytime during your stay. We aim to make your Hawaiian holiday an unforgettable one. We live on a old farm street located in the heart of Kealakekua. Our neighbor is a 6 acre Kona coffee orchard, and another neighbor is a 6 acre organic lettuce farm. You do not need 4wd for your stay! Our street is situated in a quaint little town, with amazing coffee shops, great food nearby, Home made gelato, a local bar with great live music and much more. We are about a 15 minute drive to incredible beaches and 30 minutes from the airport. Its an beautiful place to wake up and experience Hawaii. Our street is a great place to wake up and take a walk. Beautiful plants everywhere and all our neighbors are 5-6 acre farms. We are bordered by 600 acres on two sides of our farm which is ideal for the tranquility. Public transport is not easy on Big Island and we recommend a rental car during your stay so you can see and experience the beautiful Big Island and its glory. This is a working macadamia nut farm duing the week, so farm hours start by 8:30-4 on weekdays. We also have 3 farm dogs, all our really sweet and lovable. Mahalos
