Pele cabin Volcano

Pele cabin is located just outside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park along the old access road to the Park. We have two A-frame cabins on a parcel with ohia trees, redwoods, giant ferns, kahili ginger, and many other interesting plants. There are spectacular views of both Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea from the property. Each cabin is self contained with its own loft bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen. Both units have their own laundry and private decks. The space Pele cabin is by the National Volcano Park sleeps 2-4 guests A very convenient location…a cabin near the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This one bedroom cabin is perfect for honeymooners, a special anniversary, or as a writer or artist's retreat. Sleeps 2 guests up to 4 guests as there is a futon fold-out sofa and a queen sized bed. One bathroom complete with a shower.Enjoy natural beauty and incredible privacy. Step out your door and into a quiet time and place. Stroll down the private streets near the golf course, and stay less than a half-mile from the heart of the village or take in some of the many sights of the island easily accessible from here. We are just five minutes from the entrance to Volcanoes National Park. Hike across the floor of Kilauea-Iki crater or to Halema'u ma'u, or take a night hike in the park to see the active lava flows. Your Volcano Village location puts you 40 minutes from Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, where you may see turtles nesting and swimming, one and a half hours from the City of Refuge, and only 40 minutes from historic and beautiful downtown Hilo with restaurants, shops, museums and nearby snorkeling beaches. Amenities in the village include several diverse restaurants, 2 grocery stores, 2 gas stations, launderette, gift shops, art galleries, post office, a nearby local winery, 18-hole golf course and the best Sunday morning farmer's market. Come and enjoy Volcano Village, where the mornings are usually bright and sunny, the evenings cool and misty, and the colorful native Hawaiian birds sing all day long. Amenities: Shared HOT TUB, cable TV, free high-speed WIFI, DVD player, radio, fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, and all pots and pans, including dishes. Both units have their own laundry and private decks. These two cabins named Pele and Magma can be rented separately or together depending on your party size. Pele can accommodate 5 adults and Magma 4 adults.
