Whether you’re looking to stay in the area for work or leisure, or reconnect with loved ones, we provide fully furnished apartments for 30 days or longer. Our accommodations are thoughtfully organized and designed to give you the comfort of home, equipped with fully stocked kitchen, dining areas, comfortable bedrooms and living rooms. We look forwards to hosting you. The space Pet policy: please accept our apologies our apartment is not equipped and suitable for pets. A) Rental Period We’re monthly rentals as per Jersey City’s rental rules. Your reservation needs to be at least 29 days, or as marked on my calendar. I typically have my calendar available for one month at a time to prevent gaps in between. We can extend if you need more days. B) About Us Apartments are conveniently located in the desirable Jersey City neighborhood, easy commute to New York City, super safe, relaxing yet hip and fun. My address will be visible once your booking is confirmed. We’re close to the corner of Grove Street and Wayne Street. You will have the entire apartment to yourself. That includes living room, kitchen, and the two bedrooms as shown on my photos. We’re in the heart of historic downtown Jersey City, one short block, literally a one minute walk to the subway train station This apartment is on the second floor, a one-very-short-flight-of-stairs walk-up (10 steps). No elevator. Living room features a large window, a sofa, and a 49 inch flat screen TV. Fully equipped kitchen including a dining table that seats 6 (portable booster seat provided for your young child), all the appliances and kitchen ware to prepare home cooked meals Enjoy your morning with a Keurig coffee (complimentary coffee capsules the first few days of your stay) Master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and ample closet space. Second bedroom has two queen size beds and and ample closet space. All bedrooms have super comfortable 10-13 inch mattresses C) Airports and Distance C1) By Car: 15/20 min car drive from/to Newark Airport 45 min/1 hour car drive from/to JFK Airport C2) Public Transportation: You can use directions on your mobile device for updated info and time schedule. Plan it carefully; people don’t usually go with this option given the heavy luggage in the end it's probably not worth it. D) The Neighborhood Downtown Jersey City has so much to offer, super hip, fun, and safe. Everything you need is around the block, plenty of shops and eateries, restaurants, cafes. Shopping mall, movie theater, supermarkets, park, library are walking distance. It is a wonderful neighborhood for New York City commuters and travelers E) Getting Around and Public Transportation E1) By Car It's a 15 min drive to Downtown New York City, 30 mins drive to Midtown. Depending on traffic/rush hours (give or take 5-10 mins) E2) Public Transportation: The fastest, easiest, most popular way to NYC is by Path subway train Closest Path train station is the Grove Street Path station, a less than 2 min walk (one short block) from my house At this station, there're two trains going to NYC: E2a) World Trade Center train: This train makes two stops: - Exchange Place (3 mins from Grove), - World Trade Center (7 mins from Grove) E2b) 33st train: This train makes 4 stops: - Newport (5 mins from Grove), - Christopher, NYC (10 mins from Grove), - 9th street, NYC (12 mins from Grove), - 14 street, NYC (14 mins from Grove), - 23rd street,NYC (16 mins from Grove), - 33rd Street (18 mins from Grove) From any of these stations in NYC, you can walk or easily catch one of the MTA (NYC) subway trains to get around the city. New York City has the most robust and convenient subway system in the world. Train Ticket Pricing: Path train card: Single ride $2.75, Two-way $5.50 MTA metro card: Single ride $2.75 7-Day Unlimited Pass $21: All passes give you free NYC bus transfers, and free unlimited “in-station” subway transfers. F) Luggage Info. Early Check-in/Late Check-out. Sorry we do not offer early check-in/late check-out. My house keeper needs access to the apartment from 11AM - 4PM to prepare for the next guests. We do have a luggage room where you can store your luggage (any time between 9AM - 11PM) the day you check in/out. The luggage room is a shared space with other guests. I suggest you get a cable lock that can link the luggage together. Once your reservation is confirmed, contact me I can send you detailed instructions to access the luggage room. G) Guest Access Guests have full access to the backyard (shared with other units), laundry room, washer and dryer (shared with others) on the first floor. H) PARKING INFO - Downtown Jersey City H1) Paid Public Parking Average prices are $15 for 12 hour, $20 for 24 hours, $330 per month. You can find locations on map or parkwhiz H2) Free Street Parking Day time: Most streets are two hours limit for non residents Night time and weekends: free Please check the street sign for cleaning etc.,. H3) Jersey City Resident Parking Permit for street parking H3a) Temporary Visitor Passes for street parking $10 per day Applying online: one person can get up to five passes (ONLY) per month. One pass is good for one day. Five passes are good for five days. Price is $10 per pass per day. Applying in person: one person can get as many passes as needed, price is $10 per day. H3b) Resident Passes for free street parking: If you stay for 30 days or more, you can get an unlimited resident pass. You would need to change your address on car registration and driver license to Jersey City. I) Guest Interaction You can message me here thru Airbnb at any time. Once the reservation is made, my mobile contact will be visible also. Other things to note Supplies Please note we provide supplies (paper towels, toilet papers, soap) for the first few days only. We do this to keep our cost and ion rate low hope you understand.
