This bright, spacious, well-located studio is the perfect getaway to enjoy Kauai's beautiful beaches and lush gardens. A 5-minute walk to stunning ocean cliff views, to a 10-minute walk to the pristine beaches shared with the St. Regis, Princeville Hotel, where you can swim in the clear waters and see abundant sea life at your feet. Convenient shops, a nearby park and library, shops, swimming or picnics at Hanalei bay, it's all available for your pleasure. This is a pet-free, smoking free home for our clients with allergies and sensitivities. We use organic cleaning supplies when possible, and bleach only when necessary (only the laundry and dish detergents are commercial/non-organic). The moist air, garden-like humity and island mist make it a lovely place to mediate and breeeaaattthhe. You have a nice porch and lovely private patio to enjoy the mornings and abundant stars at night. Just down the path, towards the Princeville Hotel, there is a community grill with utensils. These are community utensils, so make sure to leave them where you found them ;-). It's a great option for your meals should you chose to cook your own. I find her to be very responsive to our guests. We highly suggest you rent a car to get around the island, specifically to visit other local beaches, restaurants, and shops. You can park, with your permit displayed, in any spot in any of the Hale Moi complex parking areas that read "Permit." There are multiple driveways with additional "Permit" spots, so don't be worried. It's only a short walk away. Regarding public transportation, you can try any of the share rides, like Lyft or Uber. Foodland has a large variety of groceries, veggies, meats and a large selection of by the pound Poke (raw fish, Hawaiin style). I like Big Save as their prices seem better and their fresh fish is delicious (cooking it on the grill gives it great flavor). Hawaii taxes for the lodging and transient tax are part of the overall charges and will be tallied at the time of your reservation. The transient accommodations tax (TAT) and General Excise Tax (GE) are amounts added to the daily cost of your lodging. The current rate of the TAT, as of July 2019, is 10.25 percent and is in addition to the GET, which is 4.712%. Some hosts include that in the cost of their room, while we show it transparently to keep the cost of our rooms low. We are excited to have you enjoy this magical destination.
