Welcome to Small Scales, our little piece of heaven! Fully equipped and beautifully decorated cottage right in the middle of Harwich Port’s famous “campgrounds”. The house is 8 houses away from the gorgeous Nantucket Sound beach and smack-dab in vacation-central with families out and about, kids riding bikes, and playing games in the street. Enjoy the beach breeze from the screened-in front porch and sip wine while walking down the beach in the evening. **July and August are Sat - Sat rentals** The space Park your car and leave it for the week! Our little cottage is a few houses from the beach and walking distance to Harwich Port Village where there are shops, restaurants, coffee shops, the ferry to Nantucket, a beer garden and plenty of ice cream. Take your bike for access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, summer baseball games, bumper boats, go-karts and other endless things to do in the area. The house is also a short stroll the picturesque Wychmere Harbor and Wychmere Beach Club. The two-bedroom cottage (bedroom + loft) is perfect for a family with kids or two couples and has everything you will need for your vacation including A/C (2 windows), indoor & outdoor shower, gas grill, washer/dryer, bed linens, bath and beach towels, beach toys, board games, SmartTV with cable, Wifi, and plenty of baby/infant supplies (high chair, pack-n-play, toys). Weekly rentals during the summer season with 3-night min rentals in the off-season – perfect for local weddings! This area is well-loved by our family for years and holds many memories… we would love to share that with you! Other things to note (1) Our house is a true "beach cottage" that was built as part of Harwich Port's, "campgrounds" neighborhood. The true build date is unknown, but many cottages in the area date as far back as 1910 and earlier! As a result, it does not have all the modern amenities or finishes associated with a hotel or a new home. We take pride in our cottage and always do our best to ensure it is properly maintained and professionally cleaned after each guest. (2) The stairs to the loft are very steep and narrow. Please be extra careful going up and down! (3) While pets are not allowed and the house is thoroughly cleaned between renters, the owners have dogs and dogs have been in the house.
