Plantations at Princeville #821 is a lovely, top floor condominium nestled among swaying palm trees and overlooking the resort-style pool. You will love the large, covered lanai with oversized patio furniture and tables that are ideal for a morning coffee, lounging after a day at the beach, or even an evening cocktail. This desirable top floor offers cooling trade-winds and awe-inspiring sunset views! Step inside into a large inviting common area that seamlessly connects all the spaces, this open floor plan is ideal for entertaining and spending time together. The home is clean and refreshing with a bright white color palette and ocean blue accents throughout. Floor to ceiling sliding glass doors and abundant windows illuminate the entire home and provide excellent circulation of Kauai’s cooling tradewinds along with central air conditioning. A light and airy ambience can be felt throughout the home with thoughtful and contemporary design choices. The comfortable living features island-style wood furniture and contemporary decor for a tropical and modern vibe. Enjoy a cozy movie night at home with an ideally placed corner entertainment system. An adjacent dining area provides a large wood table set for six. The soft carpet becomes cool tile as you step into the fully-equipped kitchen. With a large side-by-side refrigerator, updated appliances, oven, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils and dishes etc. the Chef of your group will find everything they need to make delicious island-inspired meals at home! The bright, white tile counter wraps around the kitchen to provide generous cooking and prep space, in addition to functioning as a breakfast bar. Four comfortable bar chairs, with backrest, fit perfectly to the counter. Three large bedrooms offer every guest the comforts of home with a little added luxury! Each room includes ceiling fans, a contemporary but comfortable style, and an abundance of natural light. Bedroom one features a king size bed with a lovely carved wooden bed frame, complete with unique, floral accents, double bedside tables with lamps, matching dresser and Television. An ensuite bathroom includes bright, white tile with generous counter and storage space, and stand alone tile shower. Two full windows frame a large soaking tub with a bonus side shelf for your beverage or book! A sliding glass door leads out to the lanai. Bedroom two features its own unique, queen-sized wooden bed frame, side table with lamp, and dresser. Multiple, large windows bring abundant light into the cozy space, allowing the sunshine to be your morning alarm! A bright white ensuite bathroom includes a generous tiled vanity, cabinet space, and a combined shower and bathtub. Bedroom three provides two single beds with one bedside table in the middle, large windows, generous closet space and unique island decor. An ensuite bathroom includes a long tiled vanity with double cabinet space, an additional full-size window, and combined shower and bathtub combo. Also included is a washer and dryer, nicely tucked into a side closet for more space within the home. In the garage guests will find a variety of beach gear available for use including beach chairs, cooler, bicycle, and umbrellas. In addition to your home-away from home, guests also have access to a lovely resort-style pool area equipped with a large community pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, shade umbrellas, and BBQs. The resort also offers a clubhouse with a full spa and gym with weights, machines, and cardio equipment. Each of our homes comes with a property manager. Should you need assistance please feel reach out to the home manager. Environmental Disclosure. Guest acknowledges that the State of Hawaii is exposed to environmental hazards including, but not limited to, tidal waves, hurricanes and floods. Please refer to the local phone book for information pertaining to evacuation procedures. In the event of an emergency, the State of Hawaii utilizes a warning alert system (emergency sirens are tested on the first working day of every month at 11:45 a.m.). Guest is responsible for using their best efforts to familiarize themselves with property, its location, and surroundings. Some of the properties are in a remote location. As such, what would be considered normal response time for public services in an urban area may not be available in this location, i.e., police, fire, and emergency services. Also, naturally dwelling animals, reptiles and fauna are different then might be encountered in an urban setting and some might be considered “pests” by some individuals, i.e., centipedes, geckos, roaches, spiders, rodents, termites, mosquitoes, chickens and coqui frogs. You should be prepared to accept such inconveniences or discomfort as a normal and necessary aspect of renting a home in an area with strong rural character. Also, Guest acknowledges this is a binding contract and cannot be released from the contractual obligations upon arrival. Construction and Neighborhood Disclosure The guest acknowledges homes may be located in a residential setting. Hawaii Life and Owner are not responsible for any inconvenience caused by construction or noise associated with the neighborhood, including but not limited to barking dogs, noisy neighbors, cars, music, construction, events, etc. Guest may call Hawaii Life to inquire as to the status of any neighboring construction or events. Any refunds due to a cancellation resulting from noise shall be subject to the Cancellation Policy. Disclosure and Indemnity. Guest acknowledges, if applicable to Property, the existence of dangers associated with, but not limited to, hot tubs, BBQs, pools, saunas, gym (workout facility) equipment, rivers, lakes, oceans, ponds, playgrounds, golf balls, lofts and ladders. In addition, Guest acknowledges the existence of certain inherent risks to persons and property located in the vicinity of the ocean, including, but not limited to, high surf conditions, dangerous riptides, coral reefs, hurricanes, tropical storms. Guest acknowledges that the Owner would not rent the Property unless Guest fully accepted the risks associated with the Property and its location. In light of the foregoing, Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Owner and Hawaii Life from and against any loss, liability, damage or expense (including legal fees and costs) that Guest may suffer, sustain or become subject to as a result of, or in connection with any injury, accident, or death arising from or related to Guest’s use of the Property. Furthermore, Guest assumes full responsibility for the Property, including its contents and Guest’s personal property. Guest shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that occupants adhere to all rules, regulations and laws affecting the Property. Guest shall not permit the use of pools, hot tubs or exercise equipment (if available) on the Property by any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or by unsupervised minor children. Guest acknowledges that Guest should take precautions when leaving the Property (e.g., lock all doors, including automobiles). Rental equipment used by the Guest is strictly at Guest’s own risk. Owner and Hawaii Life shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or additional expense incurred. Guest acknowledges that Owner and Hawaii Life are not responsible for loss of work due to utility outages. Theft/Burglary/Break In. Disclosure: For the safety of our guests, some homes may use exterior cameras. The home may or may not be equipped with an alarm system. The guest acknowledges that the Guest should take precautions when leaving the Property (e.g., lock all doors/windows, including automobiles). Should theft occur from either interior or exterior of the premises, the local Police should be called and make a police report. The Owner nor Hawaii Life is not responsible to relocate due to these circumstances. The Owner nor Hawaii Life shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or additional expense incurred, including reimbursement of rental funds or loss of personal items. We highly recommend a car. While most neighborhoods are walking friendly, most likely you will need a car to adventure to other areas of the island. House Guidelines 1. Please remove your shoes upon entering and make every effort to keep sand and dirt outside. If your home provides, please use the outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day of hiking or enjoying the beach. 2. Please notify the property manager immediately of any problems with the house so we may quickly address it. 3. Our home is in a residential area. Please be a thoughtful neighbor and keep noise, music, etc. to a minimum between 9:00 pm and 9:00 am. 4. Wrap, store or refrigerate all food and drinks to discourage pests. 5. Trash should always be bagged tightly in plastic bags and deposited in the trash cans. 6. Please feel free to do laundry while you are here. Washing towels and linens helps out during your stay. 7. This is a non-smoking home. 8. If your home offers air-conditioning. We kindly ask that your turn off the units when you are not occupying the rooms. Please let your property manager know should any leaks occur from the units. Check Out Procedures: Please check out at time provided, unless a late check out has been prearranged. Please wash and replace all dishes, cookware, food storage containers, and utensils in their proper place. Lock all doors and replace the key in the lock-box. A $25 fee is charged for lost key. Excessive cleaning, trash, sand in homes, and dirty laundry (more than one set of sheets per bed and two towels per person) will be charged an additional cleaning fee.
